It is not about what it "should" be , but what it will be. Even I want Yogi ji to be PM. The probability of Yogi is low at this point. The leadership will think about whether it makes sense for a monk to represent India in the 21st century and how the world will perceive it. I don't think Yogi ji really wants to indulge in international engagements - he has not travelled internationally so far in his life, in any capacity, even though he is leading India's largest state. CRISPR, mRNA vaccine tech, EVs, quantum computing, reusable rockets, autonomous vehicles etc. need tech minded people as Defence, Sci-Tech, IT, Health ministers. Otherwise India will be left way behind.

What have this Stalin has done ? T Raja Singh has been a key member of Goshamahal seat for last 10 years and has taken multiple steps for the development of his constituency. Its the problem with BJP that they cant gather courage to make him as their prominent face...like they did with Yogi Adityanath in UP.

But public voted for BJP thinking they'd be better. Anyway procurement of fighter jets in last 10 years has been dismal. And if not for Parrikar, our air defence system during Sindoor would have been a joke. We need a Parrikar as defence minister, not an uneducated rabble-rouser.

We need a Parrikar as defence minister, not an uneducated rabble-rouser. We need the folks who are dedicated to the country, doesn't matter if he is even 10th or 12th pass. Defence Minister doesn't need to know the technicalities in depth, his job is to ensure the armed forces chief gets every possible support from bureaucrats and even funds from the govt. Defence forces know the strategy, they need someone who can back them.
