Pray tell, what would you rather have happen instead.

What's needed is an Azaadi movement for Pakistanis so that they can escape the feudal slavery of these feudal jernails. Azaadi movement for Pakistanis is our ignorant wet dream. Never going to happen in our lifetime for them to get rid of their Army jarnails. It is part of their history and cultural legacy. At best, Balouch and KPK might have independent automous control. Our soldiers die in retaliating terrorists and are not in any feudal control, so when India loses lives, it is because of Pakistan supporting insurgency. I am numb to Pakistani casaulities. It's is their fate.

But then murders and terror attacks keep jolting me out of this Moongeri bizness. Then the pendulum swings to wanting to keep the Pakistani state perpetually teetering on a fragile edge of existence with PTM, BLA and similar alphabet soups... coffee_rules and BacktoCricaddict 1 1

In case you weren't aware, India has conducted reprisal covert attacks umpteen times, even before the famous 'surgical strikes'. And we are bumping off 'non-state actors' using covert ops already. However, public retaliation does offer deterrent value. As 2019 Balakot has proved. PakMil tested us again after a few years of relative peace. And IND responded with escalated reprisals. This was necessary and also necessary that it was *modulated*. No need to get emotional or OTT. ravishingravi 1

The operation has to be covert and ongoing (not a one time reactive action). Yes, the past patterns show that we will tuck the tail when it escalates. Which is why the bravado sounds hilarious.

There is no public relations here apart from fooling the public. If they knew about the hideouts, they should ideally not be existing yet. The covert operation should be ongoing not a one time reactive action. India lacks bravery in general. It has no heart to put itself through pain to see this to the end. sandeep 1

Yes, it's not a complete a fallacy to compare Israel and India. The comparison is both are fighting against its survival. Israel is surrounded by hyenas who will kill all Jews there if they lose the war or narrative. For India , if it loses Kashmir, it is a strategci from a National border security pov and whole of North India esp Jammu, HP, Punjab, Delhi will be under threat. Nobody says Russia is not the aggressor, but it got triggered by Dems/Deep state NATO overtures in Ukraine and want to keep the area under its control. USA almost went to a WWIII when Russian missiles were stattioned in Cuba. Do you fault Russia to feel jittery if NATO goes so close to its border? Vicks57 1
