Biggest Positive (and it is not even close): Top-order power-play hitting. Arya, Suryavanshi, Mhatre have joined Jaiswal and A. Sharma as the dominant top-order forces. No more dependence on the likes of Head and Warner and Watson. Indian top-order bats have raised the bar and are dominating like no other!!

Biggest Disappointment: Complete lack of fast-bowling talent on display. Last year we had the exciting emergence of Rana and Yadav. While Rana is still in the picture, Yadav's unavailability has been a huge blow. And to top it all, there don't seem to be any new options. New seamers like Kamboj have emerged, but they are just that - seamers. It is still Bumrah and the dwarfs. There is no accurate, consistently 140+ speedster on the horizon and that is a huge regression.

Biggest disappointment has ben the lack of fast bowlers. Most team preferred old retired bowlers ie Ishant,Mohit,Bhavi over Sen,Nagarkotti  etc.

Another disappointment has been the emergence of young fast bowling all-rounders.Bawa,Shedge were not able to impress much.

Lower middler order batsman Ashutosh,Shashank,Ramandeep should have got more opportunities.

Shashank played all the games and made important contributions

Digvesh Rathi Vipraj Nigam and Suyash Sharma did well among leg spinners.  Nigam's batting chops are bonus and if he improves after this exposure only going to be better for him.

Lower middle order and Finishers are work in progress.  Shashank and Naman Dhir are cut above the rest.

Naman Dhir has enormous potential given that he is Very young.

Prasidh in the middle overs has been exceptional.

If you look at it guys who emerged from smaller premiere leagues have shone through. Dhruv Rathi is one such guy. Most of these guys came from there. Few from SMAT. Credit to TNPL for starting this trend in 2016. Guys like Sai Sudarshan, Varun C came from there. Credit to others for following suit. HOpe we see more such leagues in all the places. There was a point when Sai Sudarshan made more money in the auction in TNPL than in IPL

Prasidh has bowled accurately at 145 k+. Has hit the deck hard and has got steep bounce.

I think certain pitches demand certain lengths. When bowlers failed to adapt they struggled. It is a question of adaptability, bowling smartness. SKill is there for a lot of bowlers. When they lose, they lose it big time.

Impact sub rules should be discarded forever . We are badly needs allrounders for Indian cricket.

Absolutely. It's inflating the scores a little and we are not developing part time bowlers as well.

Biggest positive:

Outstanding backup options as openers in  absence of Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson. Prabhsimran Singh and  Priyansh Arya did not care about the Orange Cap. What they focussed on was the strike rate in power play overs.

Vaibhav Suryvanshi as another backup opener with an excellent strike rate and the ability to score a attacking 50 and a 100.

We have had enough of Orange cap rubbish in KL Rahul , Virat Kohli etc. What India needs is openers who can demolish the opponent bowlers at sr between 200 - 300. Priyansh Arya, Prabhsinran Singh and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have shown their ability to maximize the power play.
