putrevus Posted June 13 Posted June 13 This is utter nonsense.India should just boycott the finals even if they qualify. nevada 1
Ultimate_Game Posted June 13 Posted June 13 What is this bullshyte?! Ideally, the WTC final should be based on Home and Away matches, where you play Tests at both the venues. The other option is let the team which tops the WTC table be the host of the final. BCCI has to put Indian cricketing interests ahead of money in this case else we'll never win WTC. Coming up against SENA teams in WTC final in Eng is like an Away match for us, and we'll always start with a huge disadvantage. Gollum, express bowling and AuxiliA 3
Lord Posted June 13 Posted June 13 What good is Jay Shah if he agreed to this? Keeping one venue is bollocks anyway . If England makes it, it'll be unfair advantage. Ultimate_Game 1

From the article it seems ICC itself is requesting ECB to host. Maybe Jay Shah likes to vacation in Eng that time of the year? None of these *ers gives a damn about Indian cricket. nevada 1

Even if SENA teams make it, it would be an unfair advantage to them just like it was for NZ and Aus against us the last 2 times. express bowling 1
Gollum Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) Too many internal traitors, who don't have India's best interests in their minds. Can blame the goras only so much. Ultimately it is the likes of Shashank Manohar, Jay Shah, Rajiv Shukla who stab us in the back. A curse this land/civilization has been carrying for 1000 years. Gollum Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) Waise even if India is given hosting rights, the panauti Namo stadium will be chosen over iconic venues like Eden, Wankhede, Chepauk, Chinnaswamy, Kotla (our fortress)....and even a scenic beauty like Dharamsala which attracts foreign tourists like no other Indian venue. Dictatorship hai aur kuch nahi, Getting 6-7 finals at one venue ,is pure injustice to SC sides P0rky won't complain for obvious reasons,it's basically done to make the wait longer for us Our ICC president shouldn't concede to this demand Edited June 14 by Suhaan Lord 1

Different cricket seasons in different countries. Unless we want to play in Australia in June and play in England in January.

Or at the minimum Home and Away concept the way they do in Champions League. And maybe award points for taking 1st innings lead, or how comprehensive the win was in case the series is tied.

Also we won't be sweeping away everyone at home in the near future at least, our perfect home record in 19-21 and 21-23 cycles made our final qualification merely a formality.

That way no one can say India won by creating designer pitch for final.
Serpico Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Honestly it will be less humiliating to lose in Lords than in M0di stadium again. Please never conduct another ICC final there
