vvvslaxman Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Gill 25 Jaiswal 23 Sundar 25 Pant 27 4 are likely What about the rest? KL Rahul, Nair, Siraj will all be gone soon. Spin department is the most promising. So many finger spinning all rounders. Kotian looks promising. Harsh Dubey is a potential. Then we have Sindhu, Manav suthar etc. I have hopes from Yash Dhull. Very matured for his age. He is not a LOI player atleast yet. Ideal for Tests. Angkrish Raghuvanshi is another potential. Then theer is Sai Sudarshan. ALl in the early 20s. Among seamers Need to see how under19 bowlers like Raj LImbani shape up. He is only 20. India has to start introducing them at a very young age like Ishant. Look how long he served for us. Instead of going for 29 or 30 year olds. singhvivek141, Lord and BacktoCricaddict 3
bowl_out Posted July 3 Posted July 3 How is Sai Kishore doing? How have his Ranji numbers been in recent times? Is he a good replacement for Jadeja? He strikes me as a sharper bowler in limited overs, but Axar already looks to have sealed his spot there

Harsh Dubey from Vidharba is younger has done well in domestics... even in IPL he impressed. He will break into the team sometime
Majestic Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Reddy in SENA is also likely. He will improve as a bowler. Jadeja will probably continue till India- Aus home series in 2027 and maybe retire/ drop after that.

I think whoever has better batting ability will get a nod. Tanush Kotian is another guy. But he will be competing with Sundar. I like the look of him. India's issue is still unearthing a leggie. Looking at stats all i see plethora of left arm spinners. Even off spinners have become rare breeds.
singhvivek141 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 I foresee Jurel as another key batter going forward. Amongst pace allrounders...Lets hope apart from Nitish we give opportunity to Raj Bawa (23). Sindhu is better replacement for Jadeja, a proper batter and a capable bowler. Though, in long run he may end up as a better batsman (something which I suspect from Washy as well). Manav Suthar, Sai Kishore, Saurabh Kumar, Shams Mulani...all are primarily bowlers who can bat. Main concern is pacers..except Harshit..we dont have any other pacer who is under 25. Arshdeep will always have that asterisk due to his trundlesque pace. Hope that one of Naman Tiwari or Raj Limbani makes up. Mayank may not be able to sustain the workload, and even if he does. He is at best the third pacer (role which Prasidh is playing currently). Amongst leggies....will see how Mohd Enan turns out to be. Others are more of a T20 or white ball prospects. deathmonger Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Reddy and potentially Bawa. India can ten potentially play Reddy + Bawa + Sundar + 3 pacers
StraightDrive26 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Why is Tilak Varma not mentioned? He is only 22 and has a very good FC record. Currently playing for Hampshire has 100, 56 and 47 in 3 innings in first division. He needs to be in the mix for top 6. BacktoCricaddict 1
Adamant Posted Friday at 04:17 AM Posted Friday at 04:17 AM Hopefully Bawa and Hangargekar live upto their potential, as of now they are not ready but surely in a couple of years they will get there.
tweaker Posted Friday at 04:32 AM Posted Friday at 04:32 AM Pacers ie Tyagi should be groomed to form a core group for future

express bowling Posted Friday at 09:52 AM Posted Friday at 09:52 AM (edited) Below age 29 players with potential in test matches ..... ■ Batsmen .... Jaiswal 23 Gill. 25 Pant 27 Nitish. 22 Jurel 24 ■ Pacers .... Harshit. 23 Akashdeep 28 ■ Spinner - batsmen .... Washington 25 .. off-spin ■ Axar 31 .. SLA and Kuldeep 30 ..
