Ravichandran Ashwin accuses Paul Reiffel of being biased against India, urges ICC to take action

R Ashwin slams Paul Reiffel for poor umpiring: ‘Whenever India bowl, he feels it’s not out, whenever India bat, he thinks it’s out’

 

“My experience with Paul Reiffel, I want to talk to him. I am not saying that I should tell him to give it out. It's not like that. Whenever India bowls, he always feels it's not out. Whenever India bats, he always feels it's out," Ashwin said on his YouTube channel ‘Ash Ki Baat'.

 

Guess Ashwin isn't getting a commentary gig anytime soon. Goras and brown sepoys tearing into him on SM (check reddit cricket) for this. But someone had to say this, rather point out these uncomfortable truths than be a 24x7 suck up like DK. Enough is enough, NZ series should have been the last straw for BCCI, if not for that stupid Pant bat-pad in Mumbai runchase we had a real shot at WTC F, Reiffel was the TV umpire there.

We know what we see but will be accused of being conspiracy theorists with a persecution complex for pointing it out, mostly by our own lot. It has to be as blatant as what Bucknor did in 2007 for them to accept it. 

Just look at the no. of overturned decisions this test for us which were not even close.

Ashwin earned enough not to worry about stupid commentary gigs on the Sky network. He should continue exposing these gora commentators and umpires. Where were all these naysayers when Stokes was crying about the umpiring during the India leg of the series.

 

Ashwin should also ask for the Umpiring stats to be made public.

Bose DK is often lifting ba*ls of Nasser and Athers on Sky when they go all out to defend English tactics.

 

Ashwin is a straight shooter who anyways won't be hired for commentary gigs.

Reiffel has nothing to gain by giving a caught behind unless he truly thinks there's a nick. UltraEdge will simply show him to be wrong and and no umpire wants that. LBWs are a slightly different

 

on wider note i don't think you can accuse umpires of bias with DRS. you would need to conduct a full analysis of every single umpire including the ones that might favour india.

DK is a cuckold (ask Vijay). Carries forward his meek, servile attitude to Sky as well. Man has no dignity, such sepoys disgust me.

Umpire's call is a problem in cricket. That's what Ashwin is pointing at I think. Some umpires inherently have some biases which they may not show openly but can be seen from their decisions, especially the clipping the stumps decisions.

Umpiring sometimes get swayed by how long one appeas, how realistically one appeal. Also guys like Gill talked to umpire a lot. THey gave him out every time in a flash.
