Also his conversation about Archer is something i expect from our selectors.  He clearly thinks Archer is not the same as others. So you have to push him a bit and pull him back. He is an X factor player. He has the right assessment about his weapon unlike our clown experts.

Our clowns always talks about honesty, integrity when they have shown none during their times

Even experts here wants bumrah to play till death and if he play all matches and dont perform than the same people say why did he play when he wasn't fit. Look we have only golden goose bumrah and he should be handle with care, otherwise get ready to feel wrath of Kamboj, Avesh and Zaleel.

Watching these Sky podcasts, interviews, summaries is a pleasure. Poms and Aussies know how to broadcast/cover this sport.

From India, only Ashwin's YT channel comes close but there are production/$$$ constraints, language barrier, weak side cast. Rest is all garbage. Even our people prefer garbage, look at the engagement Sports Yaari type idiots get.

There is no reason why JioHotstar can't give a show like this with Ashwin, Kumble, Pujara, Rahane, Varun Aaron, Prasad, maybe a foreign guy like Bishop/Doull, and a data/stat guy like Himanish Ganjoo as the pundits. But then BCCI will issue a gag order or dictate flow of conversation, can't be unhinged and honest like in your own YT channels.

Old star sports used to be good too. But they also started emulating Set Max IPL coverage. Just nautanki.

i've always rated atherton and nasser. atherton is a wonderful writer too. thetimes.com subscription is worth it for that alone. he's fair and not given to gushing over india like some aussies do. rates lara over tendulkar which will not please, but then says kohli is the most charasmatic cricketer he's ever seen alongside warne, and richards. stubbornly authentic whatever the consequences

I think our cricketers love the cricketing career, money and fame rather than the game itself.  They are cricket celebrities.

Top level analysis and intellect :adore::adore::adore::adore::adore:. Dumb fans deserve dumbest speaking heads.

They are idiots.

They dont even talk about the next gen players. They have no clue about the upcoming fast bowlers...I used to watch their shows and couple of times asked them questions on the upcoming fast bowlers. They were clueless and reverted to Mukesh Kumar, Anshul Kamboj types and co who play for celebrated teams.

The amount of talent we have ... We don't have the guy with even 10% capability of Rob Key and his mindset.

Man's eye test is unmatched.

Varun Aaron talks more sense, even DK w/o bias is good to hear.

Likes of Yuvraj who seems like a drunk man at times too gives anecdotes which makes a lot of value.

Its just that they're not people pleaser, and dont give cliche statements which go well with the mentally dumb audience.

Jhopda is another 30 IQ guy who is a popular analyst/expert

r/IndianCricket - Aakash Chopra picks MS Dhoni as the greatest T20 batter of India

There should wealth redistribution in this country based on IQ alone.

Demographic dividend of this country on display.

Even Pooks were able to run a good show called Pavilion during 22 WT20, 23 WC, 24 T20 WC.

Since Rob Key came on board as ECB Director of cricket, England performances

2023 WTC - finished 4th (Key joined in July 2022, and brought in Mccullum, Eng did win more matches vs earlier)

2023 ODI WC: Finished 7th, lost to Afghanistan, won just 3 matches

2024 T20 WC: badly thrashed in the semis

2025 CT: Did not win a single match, including a loss vs England

2023-25 WTC: England finished 5th

3+ years, ZERO achievements Destroyed their white ball team, did not win the Ashes, will likely lose in Australia. But hey he can speak good English.

And the Indian officials are clowns for India winning two ICC trophies

This is not an IQ issue. Many high IQ people are wilfully ignorant, biased pricks with agendas.

There should be a DQ index - discernment quotient.  How to discern good information from bad, putting aside biases and tribal affiliations.

He could have one great idea - discarding entitled cricketers - but stink in every other aspect of his job. We fans of course can take that one thing that resonates with us and extrapolate from there.

Like Greg chappell. Had a great idea of bringing in youngsters. But was a class A butthole who didn't know how to manage people. But fans always point to his one great idea and forget about his failures.
