remember jamie smith going for a third six in a row having just smoked two of them, deep into 5th day at edgbaston against India, 300 odd runs behind, and a draw still viable but they go on to lose. again today he attempts five fours in a row when they were cruising and holes out. two series defining shots emblematic of bazball

I wish they had won this game to keep the series alive! Only weather can prevent a 0-5 loss now.

This series again proved how their coach is stupid and overrated. This moron after last test said maybe we were over prepared and now he say he did not get preparation right.

Idiot Stokes giving statements like people are lucky enough to witness us play.

Chamchas like Michael Vaughan and Naseer Hussain hyping this Bazball as if it was "the best thing since sliced bread".

Only thing that i miss is the hostility. This CUmmins dude is an uber friendly guy. He just smiles for everything.  This is why 2013 Ashes is always my favorite. The sheer hostility, glare, stare, ridicule, swag from Mitchell Johnson was epic.

Lillee and Thomson or McGrath were just as good or bad.

Trouble is the Englishmen who had that kind of attitude like Larwood, Tyson or Snow were ostracized and eliminated from any furthur Ashes so their countrymen have learnt their lesson.

ENgland with two express bowlers Archer and Wood should have brought more hostility. India was way more brutla in 2018 series where we literally hurt them. Finch hand was broken if i rmemeber right.

Wood at age 35+ and at 38 tests and 79 first class matches(which includes the tests) is at best a semi-parttime bowler. Fragile and extremely overrated.

For comparison the establishment hated John Snow played 49 tests and 346 first class matches. Compare with Wood.

Wood is not a serious test match option.

One of the reason they were confident about this series is because of those two and Stokes who touched 140 plus against us. Also Tongue was express as well. THey had more ammunition in terms of speed to bring hostility. Just didn't have the discipline and the extra effort.

Never mind the extra effort with Wood, it is rare to get normal effort.

Englands last test win in Australia was 14 years back... They should focus on winning atleast 1 test match of the remaining 2

1 draw or 2 drawn games in 14 years

Australia too is in transition

.. still they have managed to beat England convincingly. 4 first choice players missing and still they are on course to a 5-0 series win .

GG would do well to learn from Andrew McDonald and George Bailey @Gollum

Under Andrew McDonald's coaching, Aussies won 23 WTC and the WC.

I don't remember his face. I doubt most ICFers know what he looks like and these are hardcore cricket fans.

Here, GG wants to be the centre of attention all the time.

And re this.

Blunt truth, india wasted chance after chance to win a trophy under captain manhoos kohli. This allowed likes of aus to pick up tiltles

Gg has actually won something in the champions trophy.

The biggest curse of indian cricket was captain kohli
