Just added my wishlist there.

Yeah but not possible. Iyer isn't being looked for T20s. HP is 32 so will play for 4 more years, will be captain in 2028 wt20. Iyer is sureshot in XI of ODIs, nowhere near captaincy role, KLR is VC.

Best possble squad now. No complaints. :wp106:

SKY form is a worry but he still has time to turn it around. NO Gill is such a relief. Kishan is welcome addition.

Lets back the boyzz!!!!!! Remember the team have won 40 of the last 45 T20 matches in last 2 years.

Incredible !!! :isalute:

Tbh, only Aussies stand in the way especially if we meet them in the final in Ahmedabad. There is always the possibility of old scars reopening (SKY, Bumrah, Kuldeep were part of Nov 19 massacre), and madman Head is a big threat to even this gun Indian bowling attack.

Iyer was VC in the last ODI series until he got injured.

This is what international cricket is about

Create pressure on opposition while you bat, field irrespective of the quality you have to face, which is mastered by Australia,it is easier said than done

Once opposition is deflated courtesy that sucker punch, you can play your normal game, this is the next difficult step, which many falter at,not Aus

Remember Nov 19,Rohit did 50% alright by taking on Aus bowlers but the next step they all including him didn't put right, all they had to do was bat properly ,they would have reached 300+

Which is why they have thrice the number of CWCs than the second best number

He should come at 6. Otherwise will waste deliveries

If he can't bat at 4, may as well drop him and get Iyer in. Or even someone like Riyan Parag.

Everyone knows SKY's batting style now and that he can score only behind the wkts, especially the square leg to fine leg region or ramp to deep 3rd man. Put a deep 3rd man, a deep fine leg and a slightly fine deep square leg and wait for "360 degree" SKY to give a simple catch to one of these players. My money would be one of the fielders on the leg side to take the catch.

Extremely limited players who has been found out and can only perform against 2nd grade bowlers in meaningless bilaterals when most of the teams rest their main bowlers. I won't hold my breath as he's unlikely to step it up in big matches.

Cannot disrupt batting order of everyone  for one player.

Everyone moves up one spot up only

He did it an Asia Cup match and worked out well

What happened to  Royan Parag?

He should have been in place of Sundar. I think he should bowl a lot more than bat in domestic. That is the easiest way to get into this side. He can play ODIs as well in the long run.

Yes, better than strokeless wonder (in t20s)

Even Axar despite his good final is not the way to go anymore. His strike rate is 111 for this year if you take out oman innings. He struggles to hit sixes against pacers. India needs out and out batting all rounder in their place since they are more or less 5th/6th bowler with Dube/Abhishek to share the workload.

SKY seems to have better luck with tosses. If he can win Super 8 and KO tosses, absorb captaincy/media pressure (freeing up all his team mates), his lack of runs can be compensated by others.

Samson opening has done wonders to our combination now, that is the best place for a keeper in modern T20 cricket. Hope this opening duo gives us 12 rpo starts in first 3 overs every match.

I would be concerned about Kishan, sure he has a great SMAT but not really set the T20is scene alight and not a great last IPL.

Prabsimran had a poor smat unfortunately for him or he would have an strong outside shot

Prab has 0 intnl exp. can not being some1 directly in icc events, they didnt induct players after the IPL thats the problem.

Kishan has already played ICC events have decent intnl exp, hence he was selected.

Though he has score heavily in samt but everything came on leg-side

Why should one SMAT season matter though? Both of them didn't play any games and they kept playing Jitesh

Now straightaway Kishan selected in WT20
