ICF Strategy to deal with Pakistani 'Praying Mantis ' Usman Tariq

Take him 30- 40 run in 4 focus on running 2’s hard … take threat from the trundler … take afridi  for 50-60 for 4 overs .. so 2 bowlers 80-100 runs together in 10 ..  so think as a pack . He doesn’t have a single ball that get you out .. you will get out trying to hit for a six or 4 .. focus on 4-5 doubles per over .

while he is taking a pause..batter can go for a stroll..come back and then hit him..

or do uncoordinated bharatnatyam..in front of him..so he cant predict how batter is lining up to play him..if he keeps on waiting..then slow over penalty to Pak :D

I would pull out right abotu the time he releases.. rinse and repeat lol  If umpire asks you can say his pause is a distraction so i had to pull out.

pause is legal if that is natural to bowler's action and that is default/stock to his original to his action.

Play leg-side, play sweep. it similar to how Eng handled kuldeep. They did know which one turns which way but he was slow through the air and bowl will not turn that sharply, so eng batter played him off the pitch and played sweep/reverse-sweep and played him leg-side.

Where is the threshold. Imagine a bowler pauses for 5 seconds and releases it? It can be considered unfair play.

There is no threshold currently.

We have to make these guys understand this distractionis cheating by deliberately pausing for long period. He literally waited for the batsman to move other day . Once batsman moved he targeted the leg stump. It also makes mankading easier.

He bowls dusra as well ,even if you watch his fingers it doesn't give you much clue,in Odis you have 2-3 overs to observe ,t20s the pace of the game and pressure adds to his novelty

So for RHBs leg side pre meditated shots can be risky, only way is  don't make pre emptive moves, just play off the pitch even 6+/7 rpo off his quota will be handful from our perspective

Don't have to let our ego take over, just play him sensibly

Coming back to bowlers and fielders,if we bowl first don't give freebies, field like cheetahs

If he bowls doosra, he's chucking.

Pakistan aren’t winning this, regardless of who’s in their squad. Even if we field a B or C side, India have too much depth and better game sense to let it slip. And about that rookie mystery spinner, our batters have seen it all. His four overs will be managed like any other spell. We’ve got the quality and the clarity.

Pakistan is a country whose bowling prowess is defined by how long their cheating isnt callled out. A pause should be classed as chucking. 1 sec or 10 secs, doesnt matter. I am sure despite all the cheating, they will fail in tournament. Time is gone to officially take a stand during ICC tt20 worlcup 2026, But I am sure that English bats will do this to this chucker

If one hears Ian Bishop, He has very clearly analysed what Tariq does. He waits tilll batsman makes a move.

Now batsmen are hardwired to make initial adjustment before delivery is bowled. Just dont do that. My guess is, Since Tariq stops at bowling all his balls are going to be realy slow paced unlike other spinners. Looked on internet and could see his pace is around 75 km/h to 80 km/h. Batsman have enough time make adjustment once Tariq has bowled.

Alternatively Batsman can make false moove and then BAMMM!

9-10 probably not but that 1-10. If 15th is the 1-10 than it would suck ...
