On top of it, some ATMs can only dispense only upto 10000... so if one needs more, its effectively 5 transactions for 50k I believe

Just asking? Is debit or credit card usage not as popular as cash/upi? There have been so many crimes and frauds with ATMs, I feel so insecure to go to ATMs late at night in India and handle cash of 20k plus.

At PoS, many credit/debit card service providers like Master or Visa have to pay a fixed fee per transaction to the bank. The service provider passes it on to the card holder. Hence for small ticket stuff, its best to avoid cards.

Shankar Sharma has repeatedly warned that India’s much-touted demographic dividend is rapidly turning into what he calls a “Demographic Debt.”

Future is bleak:nervous:

Totally - he even tried to cheat his own wife who was a childhood sweetheart.

They are separated now.

He is perpetually pessimistic on India and has had many an egg on his face over the last free years wrt India equity markets.

Let's accept this. The work ethic of chinese is much better. Majority Indian work ethic is to schedule "Hanging out with friends/Family, party, celebrate" and the allocate the remaining time to a small aspect called Work. Again, there are groups that have exceptional work ethic in India. But they are minority.

I used to manage a team of 10 IT engineers who come from small towns of AP/TG. Their first priority was always to "go home town and hang out with their family/friends".  No specific thought of upward mobility nor the thought of increasing the skill at craft.

May be having an agricultural abundance enabled our ancestors to have a lot of leisure and that has been passed on to modern indians.

Congress govt led by Revanth Reddy is hell bent on destroying Hyderabad's green cover on the name of development.
Just coz KCR constructed Neopolis near Kokapet, Revanth wants to show his own prominence by creating a similar township acquring the land of HCU, which is a rare green cover in the IT suburb.

China's work culture is toxic. No wonder movements like bai lan are raging there. IMO work has to be outcome based - not time based and should have a healthy mix of leisure and entertainment for your mental stability. No doubt ppl need to work hard - but should be in balance with other aspects of life.

TBF, that is not a green cover per se. It is just an abandoned land under litigation that has all kinds of random vegetation. It ain't like KBR park.

But yeah, Revanth Reddy has been acting weird.

To some extent, yeah it was about to be sold earlier by KCR. But they later abandoned it and now peacocks and may other animals are part of that.

Revanth has been taking steps which tbf, don't make any sense.
Halting the metro project from Raidurg to Airport is one of them. He is more interested in lands in the old city, as his properties are there. He is behind every actor, businessman who has good ties with KCR-KTR. Not a good thing, IMO.

KCR did had many gaps, but one thing he did was he worked hard for the development of HYD, so much so that it was almost neck to neck with Bengaluru (could have overtaken as well if they stayed in power for 5 more years).

This is an issue with corrupt electoral politics.

KTR and co heavily benefited from real estate boom in hyderabad and earned thousands of crores in corrupt wealth.

Now revanth wants his share. Hence he is doing all this shenaganians.

Yeah, titles are pure click bait..:cantstop:

Apparently KTR has declared that if they come in power. They will nullify all the land xfers and will re-create the HCU land back to a forest cover.

This is going to be an interesting battle.

The MNS cowards only bully poor Hindu Bihari labourers or street vendors who are isolated and helpless.

These MNS cowards don't have balls to confront vast Urdu speaking non-Marathi Muslims (many of them BD illegals) living in ghettos all around Mumbai coz they fear their mob mentality.
