He needs to get stronger to withstand that violent bat swing for long time just like Tiger woods who at his peak was also fittest guy on PGA.

Loved seeing Sooryavanshi sweep all the awards! Need to get him in the team!

 

If it had been any other player or if Sooryavanshi had been older, he would've walked into the Indian team. Let's not make him wait for it just coz he's 15 (or 16 or 17). Get him in as he has shown he can handle the game at higher levels.

 

Better to give him a break when he's in form and high in confidence at home (against Afg) than wait for a year or so when his form or confidence may not be that high. Get him in and don't phuck it up BCCI!

Worrisome he's the captain for ODIs and Tests and he was being pushed in T20s as well.

 

Selectors need to take a hard look and go back to someone like Iyer or Pandya coz Gill is not gonna win anything. He's too soft and hasn't done anything in finals. His best performance remains the one he played in his debut series - 92 against Aus at Gabba in 2021. Except for that innings he hasn't done much in big matches.
