And that was the day Jitesh's intl career ended. Till that day people thought Jitesh could serve a purpose in the lower middle order if we went with specialist batters as openers since Samson isn't a great fit to bat in the middle order. But when he made that bone-headed and selfish decision, it was clear to everyone that either the guy didn't have the brains and commonsense, or he was selfish and put his interests over the teams.

 

How Sooryavanshi and Mhatre didn't open in that match is a mystery. That's like giving super over to Dinda over Bumrah! I'm still surprised media and journos didn't grill him enough for that decision. Simply lost any respect for him as a player and professional that day and I was the one who used to push for him to bat at 6 or 7 in the team if we go with specialist batters as openers.

What a joke! He's by no where near as good as this kid. Neither are those other two. Heck this kid is already better than many internationals let alone these guys! What a joke of a decision to hold him back for jitesh sharmas, Ashutosh sharmas and Ramandeep Singhs of the world for a super over 

 

 

These morons would have sidelined him from the playing 11 just like they did with Mhatre who again is better than these guys if they wouldn't face backlash
