The Realist Posted July 10 Posted July 10 (edited) BCCI to conduct a review of India's performance in England India's continued downward slide in England has evidently shaken the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which has now confirmed that it will conduct a review of the team's performance in Ireland and England. "We will have a review meeting with the core members of the team to discuss what went wrong in England," BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said. India have lost back-to-back T20I series - first in Ireland and now in England. The team suffered its first-ever series defeat to Ireland and also endured its heaviest T20I defeat against England in the third match at Trent Bridge. tapandrun Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Nothing more than table top story , they just won the t20i wc, It would be same review which happens after every series or tour, some1 will submit constomary report , may be coach , captain, selectors will meet in presence of somw board official and nothing will happen. May be they reconsider tilak/sundar/varun selection

Even if Gambhir,is admanant on selection and non selection of some players, Selection committee should stamp its authority and select players.ie Sarfaraz. It's looks the selection committee select such a squad for the A team against Srilanka to only highlight there is no options for Sai Sudharshan. Rathod, Sarfaraz, Ashok, should have been part of the squad.

Sarfraz is not in any of the India-A teams even. This shows that the Selection committee does not want him either. And it is probably a decision by the BCCI as punishment for some behavioral issue.

He apparently has committed some sin (last time when he was in squad) and there is no redemption.

Our players are growing up on flat decks. So called t20 superstars can't handle a will jacks? Sehwag even today would have played will him better than our current guys. Ropes pulled in so much that even mishits go for 6. So many batsman in the last few games have got out caught at boundary cause it was bigger. World cup Man of series who single handedly won you the world cup dropped for a 15 year old all because of social media pressure. We can bring in whomever we want, on these decks our guys will have to practice a bit and this current team which is losing will be back to winning ways. tweaker 1
