Gollum
Massive massive respect to Murali Vijay. Been a long time since I have seen an Indian batsman showing this much patience and determination outside SC. Deserves a long run in our test team.:hatsoff::hatsoff: Link to comment
fineleg
Massive massive respect to Murali Vijay. Been a long time since I have seen an Indian batsman showing this much patience and determination outside SC. Deserves a long run in our test team.:hatsoff::hatsoff: An opener doing like this was Gautam Gambhir a LOOOOONG time ago in Napier, NZ. He ofcourse played several sessions out. That was a champion knock of patience and determination. Technique too MV has done reasonably well, patience + Technique too. Expected same from ChePu, he lost focus after doing well. Sunil Gavaskar used to display this patience, but not many after him had the technique and patience. Second best opener was Sehwag but he is a maniac-hand-eye, and patience :hehe: Link to comment

yoda
He displayed total patience, however there is also a need to push the scoring as well. He needs to at a minimum go at 40 SR. Link to comment

adi B
Everything depends on how Mooli bhai bats tomorrow!! I dedicate the song "oh palanhare" from lagaan to Mooli Bhai, please save our @r:$e Link to comment
Bleed-Blue
Contrary to what most people thought VJ has become one of our most consistent bats in Test Cricket . Even though that's yet to translate over into Loi's I think he should stay as a test specialist it will prolong his test career. I defiantly think test are his best format. Aside from one drop, he has also more wickets than Binny and only Is one behind Sir:P Link to comment
jalebi_bhai
Mooli has served me some humble pie off late.....kudos to him......what he may lack in technique he makes up with his patience......happy to be pleasantly wrong.... Link to comment
Cricketics
Great to see Vijay scoring all these runs. This one especially is very crucial since we could have been bowled out early. We still not out of danger so he has some more work to do tomorrow, but he has been terrific with the bat so far. Keep it going Murali. Link to comment
Straight Drive
Good consistency. 148 followed by 59 not out. Easily the best batsman from both teams so far. Link to comment
