Cricketics Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Has hooka bar become new trend? I see pictures of my friends from India who are having Hookah and stuff. I don't smoke Hookah, but have kind of become addicted to the Hookah bar now. It's like a new gathering place to meet up friends. Hookah bar has become like a new gathering place for me and my friends. We go there, some of them smoke hookah and we sit and talk and some play cards and stuff etc. It's turning out to be a new trend here and I guess most of the people Do you guys feel the same? And for folks in India, is this becoming sort of a gathering place too there?
hhunaeh Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 You can set up a hookah at home too. Its very cheap. Get some friends, beer, music and then :two_thumbs_up:
Ram Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 When I lived in Philly, we used to frequent this hookar near downtown Philly. But I see 2 main problems - 1) If you are actually inside the hookah bar, it is like being in a smoke machine. Your face is pounded with smoke from 20 other hookahs in the room. Not a good feeling. 2) the hookah itself - the ash particles from the charcoal finds its way thru the tube into my mouth. :headshake:
hhunaeh Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 2) the hookah itself - the ash particles from the charcoal finds its way thru the tube into my mouth. :headhshake: I don't think you are doing it right. This usually happens when the hookah is running out of fuel.

Stuge Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I don't do smoking at all .Fact is Hookah is more dangerous than cigarettes "According to Lal, the study has found that the users consume around 100 to 200 times more smoke and about 70 times more nicotine in one hour of hookah session compared to smoking a single cigarette." http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/NewDelhi/Hookahs-more-dangerous-than-cigarettes/Article1-550831.aspx "a single session of smoking shisha is the same as smoking 200 cigarettes, warn health experts." http://www.healthxchange.com.sg/healthyliving/ManagingChronicIllnesses/Pages/Shisha-200-Times-More-Harmful-Than-Cigarettes.aspx I'm not asking people here to quit smoking or anything just sharing info related to it .

Detonator Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Smoked Once. It doesnt make any sense. Instead, you can burn the currency and inhale the fumes.
