Why don't players continue playing FC cricket after retirement from international cricket? I guess Dravid is still good for that.
Several do like Ponting, Waugh and Vaughan but some like Strauss just find it enough.

No seriously though. Wasn't very talented but very hardworking and very determined. And I believe gave every ounce he had in every match. And a perfect gentlemen too boot. :hatsoff:

utter legend Rahul, such a great fella. Ended his test and ODI careers at the right time and now his t20 career with a remarkable journey with RR. Amazing guy...selfless. :hatsoff:

My favorite cricketer ... I still remember SEEING him in those jammy and thomson mathemagics ad. I remember always watching him bat more than sachin or ganguly and switching off the TV once he was out. Utter joy over the years. True gentleman and what a technique, the best after kallis. :hatsoff:

Phenomenal player and human being..........hope the BCCI gives him a mentoring role in one of the NCA's.......he could teach the upcoming players a thing or two about mental toughness...... :hatsoff: to a great career......

Sad to see this game being celebrated as some kind of farewell for one of our greatest cricketers....Morons at BCCI should have atleast had the brains to organise some kind of a benefit match for the likes of R.D,VVS etc

Playing in local leagues is completely in the hands of the players themselves. Even if BCCI would have arranged a benefit series, still Dravid would have had his association with RR and would have made this has is last Cricket appearance, if you would want someone to retire with an International match, they should retire first from league cricket.
