prasadiyer Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 The English commentators seem to be satisfied with the situation, from the England point of view, keep saying that the bowlers have done their job keeping the run rate below 3 an over. They don't understand, for India this situation is beyond respectable! Recent India record in England has been so poor, I would have been mildly happy with a 260-270 all out. I can't believe we have lost just 4 wickets.

Binny will not make it on either where jadeja will make as best spinner in the team seven though he is iffy with bat. Hope Binny proves me wrong but If Ashwin was bowling well I would rather have him or any other frontline spinner. How is Binny different from Sammy and we all saw Sammy and the imbalance he created in WI.

ThePhenomenal1 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 good day for india. yes we lost wickets but we held on. run rate not an issue as pitch can favour us. vj has a ton, dhoni has a 50. good signs for rest of tour. bowling is my concern. pankaj and pandey would have been a good combo but we are left with ishant.

If VJ goes ..it is Dhoni's fault. As a opener Vijays better equiped to play out the new ball than Dhoni, Binny or Jadeja ...I can understand Ishant or Shami taking most of the strike from VJ , but not a No6 or No7
