I'm sure I'm not the only one but I enjoy quality fast bowling. Fiery fast bowling with aggressive bouncers but this is such a freak accident that I don't know how it will impact bowlers like Johnson now. :(( This is when you sit back and realize that cricket at the end of the day is just a bloody game. This will surely have a huge psychological impact on everyone.

nothing will be the same again, terms like 'knocking the head off' ' want to see blood' 'scare the batsmen' etc will never be used. huge impact...helmet improvements...cant take sports heroes for granted, tender humanity...:pray:

Still crying. Man there are child rapists, riot inciters, Isis terrorists who continue to sicken us with their presence on this earth. This man was a gem of a human being. He didn't deserve to die, not this young :((

been hopelessly reading article after article...there is reporting in US,China etc...they say this is one of most tragic in sport demise similar to Senna in F1... was a kid then, but this one is hitting esp since he was so well known and much was expected from him..and was so young. This is incredibly difficult to let go. In time we all will feel better. Poor Abbot. View from a bowlers Lawrrence who had such an unfortunate incident with Phil Simmons ( who recovered) feels its very difficult near impossible for Sean to recover from this.
