Its ok since its for IPL can't afford to drop in tests.. I ll take vijay over this guy in slips anyday I agree he isn't the best of the keeper but he's the best we have . even vijay isn't great.Rahul is much better than him. Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
Why virat is a bad slip fielder and why rahane is so good The diff how Rahane is standing on his toes in an alert position always in anticipation of catch, while kohli weight is on his heels and his position looks most off among all. His position leads him to a slow reflex or reaction causing a last minute panic and with further that position ur body cant every be balanced. Link to comment

Temujin Khaghan
maybe future Test ATG and current ODI ATG but he needs to F*** off from the slips this moron will cost us the England and oz tours... especially England where slips have to pull off miracles forget dropping straightforward laddoos which fall into your palms. sandeep 1 Link to comment
sourab10forever
Needs to stay far far away from the slip cordan. Stay at covers.. Link to comment
Gollum
It is funny how Sridhar hasn't settled in on team's slip cordon after being coach for 3 years. Incompetence or what? We are getting flogged by RSA/Eng/Aus no matter how well we bat/bowl if this is going to be our standard of catching. I shudder to think what Du Plessis/Amla/Root/Cook/Smith/Warner will do to this unit after being dropped twice every half an hour. Edited July 29, 2017 by Gollum Link to comment
Jimmy Cliff
He's basically Akmal without the gloves. Must've dropped 20+ by now in Tests. Link to comment
SK_IH
Quote However, one elephant remains unaddressed: India at slips, specifically Kohli at slips. The most violent act during the Galle Test was when Kohli slapped the helpless turf after dropping Upul Tharanga at second slip. Tharanga duly obliged by getting bowled two balls later, and once again India got away with it. It is different when conditions and oppositions let your bowlers keep creating enough opportunities, but Kohli will remember how dearly he and India have paid for drops earlier: he himself dropped Brendon McCullum when his triple-hundred denied India a Test win in 2014, and Alastair Cook's 95 turned a whole series around after he was let off a few months later. http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/20226631/virat-kohli-drops-slips-cost-india-dearly Kohli should be never in slips and overall also a very ordinary catcher Link to comment

CoverDrive
he should not be in slips period. you need people with relaxed minds to be calm in slips. Kohli is always switched on about everything in the game Link to comment
Tibarn
He really needs to be moved away from the slips by the time we go to SA, otherwise he may drop important catches... We'll have to take every catch if we are to win in SA or Aus for the 1st time. Link to comment
The Dark Horse
Vijay, Rahane, Ashwin, Rahul all can field well in slips. Like Gavaskar says, he goes too hard at the ball Suitable for other positions but not slips. Link to comment
Hyderabadi Tiger
should only field at third man Link to comment
