Dinda was criticised by dhoni. only Rp singh was appreciated even bhuvi was criticised for lack of pace. irfan path an was criticised. Captain has to be cool even with media. He is cool on field and aggressive when he faces media KohlI shows aggression on field but cool with media.

Only when Dhoni is gone, we'll come to know what our team is really made of. No captain can do what Dhoni did in the last few years with these pathetic bowlers. Most of the best days of Indan Cricket came under him. Yeah and the worse days too,whitewash after whitewash,1000 days+ without an away test win

At max. a captain's tenure should be limited to 6-8 years. Only under special circumstances it should be extended for e.g. captaining tests only, etc.

These fast bowlers are to be blamed also, Yadav has been around the team for a long time and yet has to develop any consistency. Ishant playing nearly 70 tests is example to Indian team along with dhoni not backing right fast bowler.

In 2007 world T20 after India beat Australia in the semis he brought up a column written by Shastri about India's chances against Australia in the post match interview. I am pretty sure he was hounded with question of "Why no Umesh" by many. The problem is he is publicly answering all of them while hurting the morale of the bowler.

express bowling Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 1) Why no mention of Mohit, who was a worse performer in Bangladesh ? 2) If captaincy is always about the process and never about the result then why is a different rule followed for genuine quicks ? 3) How can Dhoni forget that Umesh and Shami, 2 quick bowlers, were the 3rd and 4th highest wicket takers among all teams in the recently concluded world cup ? 4) What does he aim to achieve by attacking his own team mates in public ? 5) Why is he lenient with Jadeja ?
