Number Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 He has an absymal record as T20 captain. His own T20I record as batsman is nothing to talk about.Still when other teams are using this format to build teams, we are stuck with this old hag who plays it like it was in 2007,loses games after games and never gets sacked.
Gollum Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 The reason our T20 team hasn't won multiple WCs is Captain Cool. He should stick to T50.
Lannister Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Now Rahane should come out and criticize Dhoni.
sscomp32 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 He is leaving after wc next year for sure. Dont see him continuing more.
nevada Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 He should retire at the end of this series regardless of the result in the final match. Either the selectors should tap his shoulder or just drag and push him out.
Ironhide Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Dhoni will first make sure that we lose T20 World Cup before he retires.
HippoSucks Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 He will definitely retire after the 2016 World Cup no matter what the result is. For now we have no better immediate alternative and it would be foolish to debut some inexperienced wicketkeeper a few months before the tournament.

You just need a batsman who can keep. I would find it surprising if there is really no one around to replace Dhoni the T20I batsman especially when we know that Dhoni has been a poor T20I batsman.
Old guy Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Wicketkeeping is not such a big deal in T20s. You just need a batsman who can keep. I would find it surprising if there is really no one around to replace Dhoni the T20I batsman especially when we know that Dhoni has been a poor T20I batsman.its not problem of replacement as anyone will do better than what he has done at international t20 but its more of case of people overrating him in this format based on odis.he wont be big loss either way so i am for trying people like samson or even uthappa..
rkt.india Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 (edited) Samson can easily replace Dhoni in T20s at least. He is also back in form now. Did well against BD A in one days, did well against SA in T20 warmup and now just hit a 100 in his debut match as a captain for Kerala. Edited October 6, 2015 by rkt.india
zubinpepsi Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 the good thing is seeni mama is not in power anymore.. hence this old hag will be shunted out very soon.
CG Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Dhoni looks lost. Another cricketer who d is dragging his career on
Laaloo Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 This loser will keep dragging us down. He will make sure we get embarrassed in the T20 world cup. Afridi90 1
fineleg Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 (edited) Problem is selectors. Not MSD. He can delay retirement, its his wish.Selectors must do their job. Drop him. Edited October 6, 2015 by fineleg
King Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 His sale date is up... can't think of anything fresh he can offer as a captain. Still too good to be removed as a player but as a captain he has done extremely well but his influence on the players is waning.
Ironhide Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Sanju Samson is a good replacement for Dhoni in T20 format, so no excuse of lack of replacement options.
