Where do you derive your bowling strengths from?

Whenever I used to bowl earlier as well, I was fast naturally. But after the proper training I got at Mumbai Indians, it helped me to bowl faster for a longer period of time. Proper training, proper diet, your strengths sessions, your running sessions are important. Before IPL, I never used to do anything because I did not know what you should do as a fast bowler because on the domestic circuit we do not come to know about such things.

THIS it the problem with the rubbish Ranji trophy, you guys dont have professional development at the domestic level. At domestic level young cricketers are treated like beggers and not given the nurturing and care that Western cricketers receive. In Australia or England this guy would have been nurtured and developed properly. Its pathetic that it took him to fortunately get to the IPL to receive some training and guidance.

Indian cricket is partly ruined because the playing XI get too much special treatment which is at the consequence of developing and bringing on new fresh and raw talent.

Australia could field a second XI that would beat India, for starters their bowling lineup is definitely XI and yet India cannot beat them, which speaks volumes. I know India will do well in the World T20 because the game is played in India, but if this was in Australia, they would struggle.

India lack power hitters, good all rounders and decent wicket taking bowlers.

Dont know why people are blaming our pacers so much,what can they do when the fielders drop sitters and the batsmen get sets later on and score big,what can they do if there is no drs?

On this graveyard,where there is literally nothing in it for the bowlers,our pacers haven't bowled bad at all, and you've got to take even half chances as they won't come later .

you get this Australian bowling to bowl to their batsmen and see them rake up even bigger totals

Some people are just sitting behind the lappies and easily blaming bowlers for the losses without even assessing the conditions,the opponents and the scenarios ,bowlers are an easy target nowadays.

Tell me what result it would have been if bailey got out first ball at perth or Pishant had taken marshs catch at gabba or Maxwell edge was given out on drs when 60+ were required

delighted to know that selectors had picked bumrah ahead of bhuvi....sad to know that visa problems should have been sorted out and that led to bhuvi being sent where as he was less on confidence where as Bumrah is destined to succeed in T20 as he is in full form and kinda at peak form now a days - with being the top wicket taker in Vijay hazare and also one of the top wicket takers in syed mushtaq trophy.. he is bound to succeed if he is played .. I am sure he n nehra will get chances to play for sure.

I m confident about both.

Seriously...Pace is good.

But we are becoming obsessed with it too much lately..

I think thats only because India is the only main cricketing power  that consistently gives international caps to medium pacers. In other countries if a medium pacer like Philander or Imran Khan gets an international call up its probably because they are very very good. Sran, Binny, Bhuvi, rishi just arn't fast enough or skilled enough to make up for their lack of pace. Bumrah is faster from what I seen hence he meets the prerequisite.

Pot, kettle, etc. You have got personal with me twice. Even the post you quoted was not personal, you used the word blind Dhoni fan in your post and I just used the same. Calling someone a blind fan is not personal. And it only hurts when something is the truth

Show me any post where I got personal with you, other than my response to you calling me a blind dhoni fan, without any sort of basis.

Dhoni was a great Indian player and a great Champion of Indian cricket. So was Tendulkar, Dravid and Ganguly. However none of those players can play for Indian anymore.

Similarly Dhoni's time has come to an end to be honest the end happened a few years ago and its time the BCCI moved him on, the World T20 must be his last time in the Indian colours.
