Ill describe him as "Andhon men Kanna Raja ". Being a leg spinner still couldnt cement his place in squad when leg spinner are such a trend in world. Absolute liability in field and when attacked completely looses the plot. He is ok ok types, only there coz there is no better leg spinner . We should move on from him and give chance to kuldeep. Mishra has no x-factor and future.

I dont beileve that he hasnt got chnces, well he hasnt done anything of noteworthy to get more chances. Specially when everyone looks for that leg spinners. He got a chance last yr against Sa when ashwin was injured took wkt at avg of 54 in Indian condition. If u wanna replace the main bowler u have to do a lot more than that

Out of 52 he has 34 wkts against WI n ZIMb only, Avg 49+ against Sa n Bang and against aus 121

Mishra is a limited bowler, he it too slow n doesn't turn enough, a leg spinner should have ability to impart lotsa spin, a bit slingy action n get spin n drift, he has played long enough and is just a has been

I have high hopes for Chahal to develop into a international class leg-spinner.  Will be looking out for his Ranji performances this year.  Anyone know if he's working with Hirwani or a bowling coach of that Calibre?  Hirwani's son is now playing for MP IIRC, so some conflict-of-interest there, but old Narendra's a very effective bowling coach I hear.

Cant believe he made his debut in 2003 and played just 32 matches.

because we had Kumble and Bhajji back then and Murli karthik as well. He was dropped and then made his comeback once Kumble retired in 2008. He played a few tests after that but struggled even on Indina pitches and was again dropped and Ojha came in place of him then Bhajji was replaced by Ashwin and now Ojha is replaced by Jaddu.
