Yesterday all the players were not able to score quickly .Only Kedhar Jadhav batted with good strike rate.He was able to out score Dhoni & when he was at the crease the chase was looking easy.

He has his issue but surely he should get more oppurtunities as I feel he wll be the 1st person to be dropped when the squad is selected for the next 2 .odi

His inning should be also judged by how more talented & players with X factor played the NZ bowlers.A hard hitting batsman  like Pandya was also not able to time his shots well.

His innings should be judged against Rahane,Dhoni & Rohit ' s inning.

He should know that he is not special cricketer & every time he gets a chance ,he should score atleat a century & that will be not enough as he was left out after scoring a match winning 100 against Zimbabwe

he has got natural power unlike rahane

Rahane does not lack power.  We have seen quite a few powerful shots from him in tests.

It is just that he is not good at slogging, improvising and hitting non-loose deliveries  for boundaries.

Rahane's going to end up like VVS.  A top notch automatic pick in tests who could have been useful in ODIs but somehow never found the niche that worked for him and the team.

I'm sure VVS looks at Amla bat and says to himself everytime - I could've done that in ODIs!

yes he did much better than talented x factor player(s)..although he was not showing his y factor fully. x+y=rh so its crucial to show x and y factor so that you have the proper Rh factor.

Is that  Donald Trump in your Display pic?

I am a big fan of Jadhav. He is the stroke maker our Odi player has been missing. Only thing against him is his face value. Jadhav is the only domestic player to maintain an average above 45 every year with strike player above 100. There is no player who can beat that record.

Not convinced with him from what I have seen. He can hack some mediocre spinner for a couple of sixes in domestic matches or IPL.. But don't feel confident that he can really play the likes of Starc, Boult, Malinga, Steyn in foreign conditions.. Given that we are building a team for 2019 WC, is Jadhav really our best bet for No.6?

So Mr. Cricket. Who are you decide that he can't play Steyns, Malinga. He was the only one in the previous match to play at 90+ strike rate. Compare that to the struggles of your favorite  players like Rahane or Dhoni. In the partership, Dhoni struggled to put bat to the ball whereas Jadhav played them with ease

Jadhav has done enough to  deserves  atleast 10 more  ODIs.

Scoring quickly on a slow pitch is not easy and many people are missing this  aspect.

He may have not got this chance if Raina was not injured
