In before, Panther blames it on paying the price for war on terror.

At least 59 people were killed and more than 100 wounded when gunmen wearing suicide vests stormed a Pakistani police training academy in the southwestern city of Quetta and took hostages, government officials said on Tuesday.

More than 200 police trainees were stationed at the facility when the attack occurred late on Monday, officials said. Some cadets were taken hostage during the attack, which lasted five hours. Most of the dead were police cadets.

"Militants came directly into our barrack. They just barged in and started firing point blank. We started screaming and running around in the barrack," one cadet who survived told local media.

And they thought these snakes would only attack India.

Its all ISI/Army drama to garner support from rest of World and Groundwork for military coup as Nawaz Sharif doesn't seem to be kowtowing Army general ( if i beleive mom released by dawn)

However, interesting bit in BBC morning reporting of news, bbc used the term militants and "separatists".

^ what Isis? just ISI.  Its attack by LeJ which is Isi wing, operating in Quetta region for religios cleansing and Lahori supremacy.

Why would ISI attack its own cadets?  Its like Pak internet warriors claiming Uri was a false flag op.

They want to blame India and RAW. Resident @Finer already thinks RAW behind everything in that area. To make sure folks like him are assured.

"Pakistan began its jihad policy between 1973 and 1974, after Mohammad Daoud Khan ousted the popular King Zahir Shah.   At that time, Pakistan’s civilian autocrat, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, established the ISI Afghanistan Cell to instrument Islamists who were fleeing Afghanistan following Mohammad Daoud Khan’s crackdown on Islamists who resisted his pro-Soviet reforms. By the time the Soviets crossed the Amu Darya on Christmas Day 1979, the main so-called mujahideen parties had already been formed. Pakistan did this all on its own dime because manipulating events in Afghanistan has been an enduring Pakistani strategic objective since 1947. "

Dont fall for that. The killed ones are allways the unholy guys.

Apparently,LeJ want to deter local population joining the police. Balochistan needs to be freed from this terrorist Government

Yep. 50+ Baloch casualties. Like the NLI during Kargil, collateral damage.

This attack gives them the necessary alibi to increase troop deployment in Balochistan. "Oh look at us! Poor victims of terrorists. Our local police cadre need army intervention blah blah". I pray for the ordinary Baloch citizens.

Nothing surprising, this is Pakistan where Sunni terrorists (read Pak Army) exterminate minorities this time the ongoing campaign to kill Shias in Balochistan

Before it was lawyers, now police academy (not the first it has been attacked)

RIP to the so many young men embarking on their police career

ISIS claimed 'credit' for this.  Looks like they see the Af-Pak badlands as a growth area for them. Bad news for both those countries.

Bad news for us as well, unfortunately. We do need a moderately stable Pak in some regards and we have poured in too much money into Afghanistan over the last few years for it to collapse.

A moderately stable Pak would stir shit in both India and Afghan. So no, we need Pakistan completely embroiled internally and with its neighbors, and spend beyond its means on defence at the expense of wholesome economic and social progress. This would accelerate its eventual balkanization.

I agree, but not with ISIS involved. These dastards are crazy enough to take nukes and use them. The Pakjabi generals have too much property and investments in Punjab to be willing to escalate to Nuclear level with us, unless their very existence is at risk. ISIS will nuke themselves if they think it is beneficial, that's how insane they are. I've read news reports on how insane this lot is.

IMO we would benefit from Pak's balkanization if there are at least half sane people in charge of Balochistan, Sindh, etc. If these jihadi scum seize territory, we will be on course for a major conflict sooner, rather than later. But that is just my opinion.
