Ignoring the age of Dhoni, I think the teams will be selected almost completely the same, especially relative to the batting order. The difference would be in bowler selection. 

 

I think Dhoni will maintain the 3 pacers + 2 spinner combination with Ashwin and Jadeja as the spinners and Bumrah, Shami, and probably Bhuvi as pacers. 

 

I think Kohli may be willing to play 4 pacers and 1 spinner, but that is just guessing.

Seriously flogging a dead horse Dhoni, should be kicked out of the ODI team, should be Virat n he should be given ample time to turn things around, like he did to Test side.

Dhonis batting, captaincy everything is gone to embarrassing level, he should retire or be kicked out

As for the composition for the 2019 WC in England, it all depends on how Hardik develops as an all-rounder and Ashwin/Jadeja's form... We need to try out at least 2 more all-rounders & a WK, before the WC

why are we playing so less ODI . 13 this year . only 3 before 2017 CT
3 odi and 3 t2o series with eng should be converted to 5 odi 1 t20
atleast 20-25 odi and 12 test should be played each year

World cup 2019, we need Dynamics wicket keeper batsman, so I guess Rishibh Pant will be vice captain of 2019 world cup but Absolutely who else than Virat our captain in all format by 2019.

 

I think MS should say good bye in next 6 mos.

Any player will suffice as long as he is in the team on merits. Captaincy in LOIs is irrelevant, unlike in Test Cricket.

The all-rounders will decide his fate at champions trophy. Since he has accepted to bat at #4, any batting failure will result in more calls for his ouster and this time he doesnt have Srini Mama to save him
