We destroyed the toss excuse. Now they just have excuses about Indian pitches. Imagine if we did not have DRS. There would be no end of whining about the Baristow decisions, etc. Pretty sure English press would make it seem like wrong decisions contributed to England's defeats of DRS was not there

On the contrary DRS if used properly our spinners will gain from it, lbw comes into picture largely also batters have to change their approach accordingly now

Just happy we have that option . Hopefully BCCI can see the benefits and continue its usage.

With the amount of wrong decisions we generally get on away tours , DRS is absolutely crucial.

England would have been well within their rights to moan if there was no drs .

Usually for away teams playing without drs often it's like playing with 10 men(more so for India)

Even the pitch excuse is ridiculous. Allan Lamb was whining about how batting on the Mumbai wicket was like a lottery, and no one could conquer that pitch. 

 

Indians are sensitive. But English are blind and delusional.

DRS absence robbed India of few overseas wins, I remember Pankaj Singh got Bell out thrice lbw, but they were not given and Bell went on to make 130-140 score at Rose Bowl in 2014.

The biggest adv is in terms of howlers that umpires that time and again give (inside-edge lbws, caught behind that brushes the shirt or the hip). I think India or any other team will benefit from that largely. I want to see 3rd umpire recalling decisions (esp in case of howlers) on his own and save time and reviews for a team.

All dismissals should be automatically reviewed.  There's absolutely no reason why all dismissals are not automatically reviewed in the time it takes for a batsman to walk off the ground.  

 

Take the case of NFL in US, which has been one of the pioneers in implementing reviews.  After a year or so, all turnovers are automatically reviewed, because they have a crucial impact on the game. 

 

Batting team reviews should be done away with.  This is a complete no-brainer, and should be implemented ASAP.
