The most satisfying thing about this test was that India actually need the triple to make it happen. As well as being a marvellous feat in its own right it actually won the match.

Yup.  All that noise about milestones was the pent-up frustrations coming out and jumping on a flimsy reason to criticize India, only for it to promptly egg their face within 24 hours.  Its simply "Maaahvelous" how often that's happened on this tour - all the mumbling about turning tracks - silenced.  The absolute stupidity by English media and even their team about the toss - blown up.  DRS excuse - non-existent.

You can go right down the list.  Reality is that England with the luxury of their allrounders and batting 'keeper, in conditions that were as manageable as they can get, won 4 out of 5 tosses, put their best foot forward and were comprehensively out-played by India.  Victory is that much more sweeter for it.

England actually didn't do that bad, especially with the bat... Though they got lucky being served flat pitches...India were just superior in all departments.

I think Ashwin averaged 30 with ball in the series which indicates flat pitches

I just hope pitches are abit spicer against Australia,

This series England got away with being served flat pitches, and England got lucky with the tosses

Basically to sum up

Before series Eng said - No DRS else we will win, Turning track else we will win, Its win the toss win the match else we will win, its flat pitches runs are cheap --

After series - With DRS, without Turning tracks, with most tosses won, with a flat pitch but by a innings defeat because of a special 300.

Lol at England egg on their face. God i love it.

Very satisfying for me to see India win, especially after the way England batted in the first session.

If we had a lead of around 235, it would have allowed players like Stoakes, Butler to attack our bowlers and get a quick 50. Run lead. With 280ish lead, it helped and put regular stroke makers like Stokes etc something to think about and change the way they bat. Instead of playing shots, they were reduced to playing for survival and that did the trick for India.

Nair's triple ton helped us big time.
