If we have a better bowler, then I don't have an issue in dropping BK either, but Yadav is not the solution. bowlers depending on certain conditions will always become toothless overtime. He is not even bowling to take wickets. Has been defensive. Bowlers who bowl to take wickets will often leak runs too.

Bhuvi was bowling for wickets. There was nothing negative. That is his regular line and has been for many bowlers. On any other day he would get 2-3 wickets. Just wasn't his luck today. He was taking the ball away from the batsman when Roy and Billings were batting. That is his job to take the edge from the opener's bat. beetle and sandeep 2

If Yadav had the same numbers, you'd be touting how Bhuvi would've done better. Well, Bhuvi sucks too, at least with Umesh we have an option to hit the opposition back. Look at how left armer David Willey bowled. BK bowls too much back of a length to restrict runs which is not his strength and is defensive bowing that might look good but won't get you wickets. He needs to take risk and bowl fuller to take wickets. He bowled just one ball in fuller area with the new ball. Laaloo, MCcricket and Mosher 3

Adding full length is just adding another feature too it. It is not called defensive bowling what he is doing.
Sandeep99 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 He turned into a gun death bowler.. shows you don't need pace to beat batsmen.. Shami, Bumrah and Bhuvi will form an awesome trio for CT.. you read it first here!
BeautifulGame Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Bhuvi was disappointing with the new ball yesterday.England openers were standing outside the crease and negating his movement .It didn't help Pandya was also very inconsistent with the new ball. But Bhuvi comfortably outbolwed Bumrah yesterday at the death .Same in the second ODI as well. So either way Bhuvi has been useful . Ultimately the Champions trophy is in England where his record is excellent .So needs to be an integral part just like Yadav would have been if it was in Australia. When Shami returns neither Bhuvi nor Yadav will be part be of the first XI. Forever Indian 1
BCCI Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Bhuvneshwar should play every game in Champions Trophy.Hopefully Kohli backs him. Forever Indian 1

sscomp32 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 3 pacers in BK, JB and MS will be good in Eng. Jadeja and kedar could be good spinners. We can choose between one from ash/HP based on conditions.
