If a bowler is troubling best batsman in the world in nets......well what the hell is he doing in the nets. A tall left arm bowler wud give variety to the attack. Also aussies wnt have much idea about him. His footmarks will also give rough for ashwin 2. Get in parthiv patel in squad to........m nt saying replace saha. But have an option. HE is a good batsman and a left hander. Also he was a lil more pro active with helping in drs. Rest lets wait for the pitch n weather.

BeautifulGame Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Depends on the wicket . If it is turning track like this , then Nair for Ishant and Kuldeep for Jadhav. If it's a flat track , then probably same team unless Rahul is injured.Then get Nair into the middle order and open with Pujara .

If yes, include him in the playing 11 although he is not in the squad. This will be a meaningful addition to the team and not for the sake of it. He can play a VH trophy match in between if fit. If the track is flattish then play the same squad ( apart from the above ). Two front-line fast bowlers are a must in such a case. Ultimate_Game Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I say have another turner next test and replace Jayant Yadav with Kedar Jadhav. Kedar showed enough in odis that on a rank turner he's more than a decent option and obviously he's a pretty good batsman. I would also look at fast tracking another wkt keeper batsman. Whenever the going gets tough I don't see Saha do much.

vishalvirsingh Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 ishant should definitely be dropped ..pandya can replace him. shammi is best to replace ishant but if he is not fit than Hardik pandya can replace him. ishant has not managed even 1 wicket in 14 oevrs in this test where as starc got 2 in 9 over and hazel got 1 too. umesh has 5 from 25 overs- which is brilliant.

I agree Saha is a better keeper. we can play kuldeep and drop jayant. rahane should also be replaced for sure by NAir.

The 60 odd he makes doesnt compensate for his keeping and dropped catches and missed stumpings. beetle and Lord 2

How many aussies have seen him????Only very few who must have played in IPl from punjab HE offers a lot of variety- tall, good pace, left armer No point rushing shami.
