MCGGG Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Massive game coming up, winner probably wins the series, an Aussie win will be enough for them to retain the trophy. Confirmed: Mitch Marsh sent home injured (and for being ****), Marcus Stoinis his replacement, averaging a whopping 15 with the bat and 40+ with the ball at SS level this season, but when you have Mark Waugh as a selector selections like this aren't surprising, reckon he's a long shot to play at this stage though. New guy 1
sandeep Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Stoinis is a squad selection - a way for the selectors to force the team to select one of Agar/Maxwell for the remainder of the games. I wouldn't be surprised if Stoinis plays ahead of maxwell though - aussie team politics are vicious and "Maxy" has done himself no favors with his frequent foot in mouth disease.
Gollum Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 If some Indian player is given lbw hope he looks at the dressing room and does what Smith did last match. And hope Chris Broad is the match ref. Would love to see the hypocrisy of the white men called out as it is in full view.

His son edged a ball to first slip once and was given not out, would've been Agars first test wkt iirc, Aleem Dar was to blame.
tweaker Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Squad has been selected for last 2 test India squad: Virat Kohli (capt), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Abhinav Mukund, Karun Nair, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul, Wriddhiman Saha, Ishant Sharma, M Vijay, Jayant Yadav, Umesh Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav
Iconoclast Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 As for Oz one passenger gone in Mitchell Marsh ... do they have the balls to drop the other one - Warner ? He is clueless against Ashwin ... never gonna make more than a quick fire 20 or so. sandeep 1

chewy Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 As long as Australians don't cheat it should be a good game

SRT100 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 I think the team selection will be a "safe one". However, I would love to see India take a chance with Kuldeep and go in with 3 spinners and a quick. Its going to be a slow pitch so Ishant is not going to be effective. Took only 2 wickets last match too. Kuldeep would be a weapon too with his left arm wrist spinners. KL Rahul, M Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara Virat Kohl Ajinkya Rahane, Karun Nair, Wriddhiman Saha R Ashwin Ravindra Jadeja Kuldeep Yadav Umesh Yadav, Zestian and AuxiliA 2

He could hurt India anytime in any game. Vilander and Gollum 2

Ranchi will help him too, and btw is he any good with his bat ? I have heard he wanted to be a batsman at first... KING KOHLI 1

I think he is a Pakistani but a good addition, I am encouraging some from the Aussie forum to come here let's see. Under_Score 1
maaki Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 If it is a spinning track don't know why Ishant is getting persisted with. Need to get Kuldeep yadav as the forth bowler and play with 3 spinner and umesh yadav as pacer. knowing Kohli and lack of imagination as a captain I suspect vijay for mankad will be the only change.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I wouldn't mind going with the following two changes from the last Test... Vijay in place of Mukund Jayant Yadav or Kuldeep Yadav in place of Ishant
coffee_rules Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 7 batsmen plus Jayant, too much safe , play for draw kind of team. Need to win toss and go with 4 bowlers. Ishant should play, So same 11 for me, Vijay for Mukund , if fit.
