cricketjoshila Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Pakistani coaches and commentators wont be part of IPL 10.Though Pakistani players have not been part of IPL since 2009,the unoffical ban seems to have been extended to commies and coaches as well. Do you guys agree?

Gollum Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Didn't Shami say he improved a lot thanks to Akhtar's tips about his run up? Wasim,Waqar,Shoaib and Rameez should have been invited imho. Don't brand me an anti national for saying this but I find this silent ban on Pakistanis absurd. We are behaving like how many of the Islamic countries treat Israel. We should be stern on terror and handle it diplomatically or through military measures. But this whole blanket ban on Pak sportsmen and artistes makes us look intolerant and childish. FGS we have had 4 wars with them but that didn't stop us from playing cricket and having cultural exchanges all these years. What changed all of a sudden? Terrorists like Hafeez Saeed aren't going to stop pushing terror just because we don't engage with them. Sent from my SM-G350E using Tapatalk manu4411, Iconoclast, sourab10forever and 1 other 4

Laaloo Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 What are your views regarding this? @Malcolm Merlyn I remember during PSL final, you were giving major support to our padosis. Views still the same? Rasgulla 1
Vilander Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 unfortunate, would love to see pakistani players and commentators and support staff working in India. But the problem is as a nation they want to destroy India, and kill Indian people, except for this they are pretty good actually nice folks but terrorists. So yeah unfortunately we dont want to play with them till the time they stop wanting to kill us. sandeep, King Tendulkar and helperononline 3
kosingh Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 (edited) I'm not in favor of violence, and this is a perfectly fine non violent position that India has taken. Edited March 14, 2017 by kosingh King Tendulkar 1

Ultimate_Game Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 (edited) I'm all for it. You can't have commies, coaches and players from the state which actively backs terrorists and terrorism against India. We've given enough chances and seen enough to know the cycle will never stop so it's time we accept the reality and act accordingly. Edit: I call it "Reality" and not "Intolerance". Malcolm Merlyn Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 So you agree with Cricket joshila? Not fully.
kubrickian Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 (edited) Pakistan is still continuing to support terrorism in Kashmir and terrorists continue to kill members of Indian army and police and civilians as well. Nothing has changed on the ground. Even most of the public in Pakistan sympathize with these terrorists but they are fine with labeling other groups which threaten their country as terrorists but not some others which affect others. Mind you, even Pak Taliban and other groups were given shelter by Pakistan itself for gaining strategic advantage in Afghanistan. When they are so complicit in anti India activities and supporting groups which affect security in other countries , its clear they are a terrorist country. How can you act like nothing has happened and play cricket ? It doesnt make any sense to me. Edited March 14, 2017 by kubrickian King Tendulkar, Ultimate_Game and Vilander 3

Zero_Unit Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Majority of you guys are bringing up TERRORISM. I fail to see how these cricketers/commies/coaches are promoting TERRORISM. I am not a fan of this. Just cause someone was born in a certain MAN MADE BOARDER (in this case, Pakistan), he/she is labeled as something which they have noting to do with what so ever. Terrorism is not cool but banning the Pakistani cricketers/commies/coaches is retarded. If the player and co is a hater of IND then sure ban him for eternity, if not, let them do their job. On another note, so the likes of KKR would need to find someone to replace Akram? Vilander and King Tendulkar 2

The income they make is taxable and assuming that they do pay their taxes to the government of Pakistan, part of that tax money goes towards waging proxy war in India. Pakistanis who visit India have to report back to the ISI. TheWall, King Tendulkar, Vilander and 1 other 4

At some point you draw a line and send message to the state which is trying its best to undermine your best interests. Nobody is saying Pak players, coaches, commies are terrorists BUT they belong to the state which backs terrorists and acts of terrorism against India. India is simply saying that citizens of the said state cannot profit economically from India while their homeland is continuing with the proxy war. I rate Akram pretty high and he would be in my ATG XI for any format but I wouldn't want him to be part of IPL in any capacity. Not because I don't like him or respect him but to send a broader message that some things are simply not acceptable. This is the reason why likes of Azhar Mahmood and Imran Tahir are welcome to participate in IPL coz they are no longer citizens of Pakistan. It's not about individuals but about a rogue state which is hell-bent on undermining security of India. Masquerade, Vilander and King Tendulkar 3
