surajmal
Only 1 guy in the team who doesn't surrender in the face of even little adversity. Whats the point of even blaming the selectors and Kohli, when most of the guys piss facing any swing or movement off the pitch? Link to comment

Dada's Army
At least this will the heat off Virat for a change. The simple fact is that these other champus need to contribute. No other way around it. Link to comment

Vijay Pujara Kohli Rahane Eng series we had 2 Vijay Rahane Aus series we had 3 Vijay Kohli Rahane How do we have 1 all of a sudden? veer
This reminds me of Rahane counter punching in Australia... Ozzies were really going after Kohli's wicket and Rahane came in and started counter punching Johnson.. both ended up with centuries i think.. Rahane should have been in both test matches... this was a blunder. express bowling 1 Link to comment
rtmohanlal
Continuous shuffling of the team w.r.t batting did the damage.Playing proven failures Rohit & Dhawan in place of Rahane & Rahul proved to be vital. This dented both Rahul's & Rahane's chances to get accustomed to match situations and get into rythm as early as possible. When will the team managament learn such basic things? adi B
Even kohli's not that assured on swinging or seaming pitches and kohli has scored his mandatory ton for the series ,he's done as well me thinks!! Nonbeliever 1 Link to comment
Gollum
If you chop and change so frequently batsmen will become like Tenali Raman's cats. We need consistent selection policy, Kohli deserves some blame for his selection. Link to comment
rtmohanlal
And no quality left handed batsmen in the team. Firstly, left hand - right hand combination at the crease adds to the variety and makes more tough for the bowlers to adjust. That being the case, top six including 3 left handers is the most perfect .And here not one quality left hander in the team. What is the team management smoking??????? mishra
^Its not chop and change. Its finding a reason to drop to accommodate frnds is root cause is insecurity and feeling of unfairness among rest bats Africa were 7 down when Dhawan dripped regulation catch to deny a fiver ti Bhuvi. Nxt, Kohli takes him off attack. He could have got a fiver. Two bowlers, Bhuvi and Umesh Must be feeling hard done for making space for Sharmas Edited January 16, 2018 by mishra Gollum, Nonbeliever and sensible-indian 3 Link to comment

The tests against Aus in 2017 on those pitches what did Kohli maharaj do? He didn't have the balls to take the rampant Aussies head on then? What did he do in England 2014 when we were under the pump? Easy to take potshots when others are doing bad. And please elucidate when Kohli has ever done anything of note either against swing or on rank turners? Played 5 tests in Eng, failed in all of them. Played in 6 rank turners (2 each against Eng, SA, Aus) since his debut, failed in all of them...... Rahul, Vijay, Che, Rahane all have delivered against adversity at various points of their career, many times a few of them have stepped up to cover Kohli's failures and help us win test matches. If all are failing now, may be there is something wrong with the team management. The constant chopping and changing, selections based on friendship, making statements about intent and what not publicly which is forcing some sedate players to play recklessly.....these external factors too may have had an effect on the other batsmen.
