This is thing we over react both ways

guys scores runs has great attitude

guy flops bad attitude

has anyone considered may not be about attitude but just some people are just better then others at playing cricket ?

Yeah and also another thing, if he scored century today, doesn't mean this is his best format. Clearly Samson looks a better ODI player than 2020 player, he started picking up his innings late. More suited for 50 overs.

This is where fans need to realize he might not repeat this every time and then people will write him off again, but doesn't mean he can not play for India because he got out early in t20s.

So many fair weather fans eager to write him off and move on to the next "name".   For some its more important to be on fashionable bandwagons than actually look at a player and his respective strengths, weaknesses, where he is on the development curve etc.

Wait for Rishabh to have a longish string of bad scores and all those who are pant-gasming for him will move on to the next "name".

Yes, people don't understand young players can go through bad phase. You won't really find many great t20 players at the age of 22. Neither every player reaches his max potential at the same time. Some early, some late. People are quick to discard 20-22 year talented players.

He's simply not that good. Never been convinced by him and if you look at his record its nothing special and I can't recall any special innings that turned a match around.

Good job

Those who are relating issues with Sanju this season to Sreesanth like attitude does not have any clue on what actually is going on. Samson is one of the most level headed guys in the Kerala team . None of the issues were happening because of any attitude problem

What I heard from some guys in Kerala cricketing circuit is that Sanju was really disappointed that he could not score any runs and was close to reaching a stage of depression. Then his father stepped in and got into some verbal fight with KCA president

None of us know the details and reality of the situation - those who are assuming the worst or the best.   But lot of ICF "fans" don't do "realism" well, quick to rush to judgement, resort to confirmation bias.    Samson is a waste, Yuvi is done, Raina is fat, Vijay is too old, Rahane is too slow, Saha is not good enough with the bat, Bhuvi can't bowl phaast so is useless.  The list just goes on and on.

He batted well on the A tour to Australia.

Did really well today too.

Dravid's guidance seems to help him.

He looks someone who needs to be mentored for success.

He needs to start batting well for Kerala in domestic cricket as well!

You could tell it meant a lot to him, in the innings change over when he was asked a few questions he was lost for words,
