Cricketics Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 As much as the defeat makes me disappointed today, I have to say some fellow Indian fans, not me or some, needed this defeat to shut up a bit. We have to know that the game is played not on playstation or on paper but by players who have different mind set on different days and all players from both the sides are playing at an international level and not at club level and shouldn't be considered below par or below standard players and can be constituted as a minnow nation. Many fans felt Lanka was minnow and we should sail through them easily. Fact is that they might be rebuilding but they are in top 8 nation tournament. They are way better than any associate team and they showed that too against South Africa. I hope this is the last humble pie left for such fans to eat because as an Indian, I can't tolerate not see us go past first round here and hence we really need to be at our best against South Africa to qualify now. Them, well we won't be taking them lightly. I know our players didn't take lanka lightly either like our fans, but well we have to accept, we are in spot of bother now because of Lanka playing well against us. Time to give our best shot and win the game. Select the best team and give it all. Let's go India Rightarmfast, beetle and Unstable Joe 3

I'll take it back if Pak/SL win their SF, even the final, or at least make it a close game, but I can only see a one sided contest in their SF, and if they get through that through complacency, the final.
