We are overrated ODI team which currently has some top players who make us look like world beaters but we actually aren't as you can see by our ranking. We are getting ready for 2019 world cup and not the finished product. That is what matters more to us.

India get easy to semi hard oppositions till semi finals and finals and then in those games many weakness which India was able to hide get exposed and India's has no clue to deal with it. A big culprit is dhoni virus of not changing winning combinations which kohli too has acquired to an extent. If you don't change team then weaknesses are never addressed.

Maybe but our team at least does get to Finals unlike others. Our team gives us joy every single time with stroke play and wins throughout the year unlike others who need to wait years together for one moment of joy. Our team has already won the same trophy 4 years back and it's not anything new to us.

I think we really have a problem with choking in knock out games. Its not just losing but the team does display negative body language and nervousness in knock out games. Perhaps they are not able to handle the pressure of overcoming the final hurdle.

 

In World T20 2014 Final, batsmen choked(Yuvraj in particular) and scored way less than par score. Same thing in World T20 2016 SF, it was Rahane's turn. We just came up against a much better team in Australia in 2015 WC.

 

So yeah it does seem we are the new SA or SL(however you see it).

Don't over do things.Yes... your team won and rejoice in it.Keep in mind that this was the same Indian team  that just gave the same treatment to your team a few days back.It was just that it was not India's day and PAK played better on the day.Accept both as happend in  games.No need of going over the top .

Why is everyone forgetting team under the Great Dada,who I think was a pathetic player and captain,lost 11 finals that too with most matches being one sided. We only won Natwest Final and were lucky to share Champions Trophy with Lanka in 2002.Atleast the Lankan teams always give a competing performance in finals and punch above their weight.

Atleast Bharat reaches the final. One so called "GREEN " Team reached a final of a major tournament after 18 years ...!!!!

 

It almost seems this "GREEN" team's cricket stopped after 1999 and came back in 2017.
