yes more educated muslim youth are seeing the falsehood of the ideology of Islam.

If they did it in middle east or Pakistan then these guys would be attacked and killed by mobs.

only in western countries do they get proper state and security protection.

And Muslims have to act more civil because they are a minority and want to show they are peaceful.

Nope. They will be arrested, prosecuted and executed legally on basis of "apostasy "

in third world countries esp on cases of blasphemy or religious feelings being hurt. muslims mullahs will whip up an angry crowd and deliver mob justice. some countries maybe they will arrest the person and then sentence them.

but in places like Pakistan mobs will get to them.

Seemingly innocent? Apparently not. Kaif, who posted a picture with his son on his official Facebook page, captioned it "Shatranj Ke Khilaadi #fatherson #kabirtales #instaplay".

Trolls soon took offense to the post and flooded the comment section with their immaculate assertion that chess was “haram in Islam”.

Comments started pouring in from "Lage raho Bhaijaan new world new hobby but not accepted Islam this hobby but i liket" to simply "Bhai yeh game harraaam he". The deep understanding of the religion seemed to have miffed the cricketer who simply asked the online oracles if “breathing was also haram”.

Indian Muslims are beyond repair, this is what happens with excessive cousin marriages and getting education in madrasaas. Most backward Muslims in the world are in the SC.

They are best brand of Muslims in the World - India is very luck to have them and to get rid of the Bad Muslims ( Pakistanis) during  partition.

Its not only about muslims

I can show u people on this forum who tell others what to do and what not to

Its not about a particular cast or religion, its about people mentality

Telling or forcing anybody what to do and what not to is itself a backward thought unless its something of criminal act

So you choose to generalize on the basis of the comments of some online wanna be Moulvis. But you choose to ignore the kind of reaction they got from the bulk of the people, many of whom are Muslims.

Rational approach, isn't it?

Its a cute pic.

However, the rook at the top right corner is upside down?

And the position is almost symmetrical. As if it has been arranged for this pic.

The fb moulvi wanna be trolls may feel that chess is haram, but posing in front of a chessboard for a selfie surely can't be haram.

I think twitter need to take action. Else government need to take action against twitter. Be it Burqa Dutt or Suchitra, twitter is providing/facilitating a platform to abuse.

Twitter should share the details of each of these individuals to police, specially repeat offenders. After all, twitter was quick to suspend account of Abhijit even though he deleted his post

GoI has put in a demand for the same. Twitter initially said that they valued client confidentiality and wouldn't share any details. But middle ground was reached. The details of which are very sketchy.

pathetic cricketer. deserves the hate coming his way

Your comment makes no sense. In what way how he played cricket is related him getting hate for playing chess?

BTW one shouldn't generalise it as Indian Muslims as on Social media there are people from anywhere in the World, many of them with fake profiles... The favourite pass time fir everyone is to troll somebody, especially any celebrity... Social media has allowed public to interact with celebrities easily, and people mostly use this opportunity to vent their frustrations of their own lives...

Below is Germany's national anthem translated in English:

"Unity and rights and freedom

for the German fatherland.

Let us strive for it together,

brotherly with heart and hand.

Unity and rights and freedom

are the basis of good fortune.

Flower in the light of this good fortune,

flower German fatherland"

Would Muslims in Germany sing above national anthem despite Germany's reference as the fatherland?

The objection that some have is not to the motherland/fatherland part. It is to the deifying of the motherland, equating it to a Goddess who is prayed to. Whether or not this interpretation is correct, is up for debate.
