Sooda
We may well diminish his efforts with the Clouderson jibes, but the guys figures says it all. Certainly one of the greatest swing bowlers ever but where does he rank amongst all time pacemen? Which pace bowlers from history would you place just ahead or who would you rate him on par with Link to comment
sourab10forever
He is a Beast in English conditions. Khota 1 Link to comment
Trichromatic
Best bowler from England in last 50 years. Not in top 20. Link to comment
Rightarmfast
I have 4 words... Lolz... certainly a great for england team, but in my book he is not in the top 10 or 20. RAZPOR and express bowling 2 Link to comment

SK_IH
very good bowler but somehow dont think he is anywhere close to likes of mcgrath, ambrose, donald etc, even between him and broad i prefer broad,he has the habit of bowling match/series winning spells. I remember both Harmison and Anderson were highly rated during 2002-2003 but eventually Anderson more than lived upto the hype ,500 wkts is great achievement Link to comment

The Dark Horse
Same place where Harbhajan stands among the spin bowling greats. Link to comment
rtmohanlal
some what similar to Kumble. A swing version of Kumble.Yeah 500 wkts is a bloody good achievement. But he had all the support in the world with Stuart Broad & a few others in the team .Also a great disparity between home & away performances just as was the case with Kumble. So at the least a very good bowler. Not definitely in the top 10.... perhaps may be in top 20. sandeep and Vk1 2 Link to comment

Khota
Good bowler indeed but the best is very debatable. Arnold got more swing than him on an overcast day. Link to comment
putrevus
It is not swing, it is the pace/late break with which he swings makes him deadly. He would be in my top 20 bowlers. His improved accuracy makes him great. All Indian bowlers can learn from him his economy rate.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
RAZPOR
He is a green track bully ,needs to perform well on flat tracks before being considered. Edited September 9, 2017 by RAZPOR Link to comment
Sandeep99
Average bowler but excellent under clouds. All in all, not a top 20 bowler. There have been many better pace bowlers in the past. GoldenSun 1 Link to comment

Can't compare him with Steyn but as a whole among top 3 or 4 fast bowlers of this gen Link to comment

Well, it will be interesting to see the economy rate of this pace attack of India in england and new zealand! Khota and express bowling 1 1 Link to comment

Anderson hasn't been a mid-90s bowler for quite a while. Quality bowler, hard to like on account of his moronic antics. But given a bit of assistance, quite incisive. Link to comment

Anderson was never a 90+mph bowler, started out as being regularly in the mid-late 80s but then dropped a few probably around the same time he became a test regular. read that as KPH - Shami and Yadav bowl in the mid-140s. Consistently. Link to comment
