I'm sure mods are well aware of how almost all posters detest the 'merge posts' functionality.  Suggestion on this - can you tweak the settings so that the merged posts are separated by a couple of lines of whitespace?  That would at least mitigate the issue.

its noted...

the thing is we are a bit worried about touching things under the bonnet during peak cricket season. When times are slow with no match will defo try it out.

not only you, even i find it annoying.

There should be a block from following option in addition to the ignore option. That one wannabe Scientist is annoying me with his personal attacks.

This is already in place mate. Just add the user you want to ignore to the "ignore list" under your "account". That should do it

That just keeps me from seeing their content correct? I meant more along the lines of preventing another user from seeing my content.

Not sure if I posted this already.  But why don't we "post of the week" and such awards.  Will be great to incentivize quality posting and threads...

Good idea. We can try something similar in future. May be if not week at least like thread of the month or post of the month, as week is a really short period.

Good suggestion:beer-bottle:

Just wanted to mention that the last few days, the forum is *so* much better with quality threads, good discussions and minimal agenda based bashing of pet-hated players.   Of course the top quality test cricket is helping. Let's keep the good roll going.

 thanks
