He is a better bowler now especially in tests. Has not played ODI much since WC. I will play him over BK even in ODIs as he has the ability to take wickets with the new ball.

Shami is still very much here and has gotten quicker and better. Our best pacer in tests and a very good bowler in ODI's.

Oh he's still here and still our best bowler in Odis and tests. Sadly, the team management thinks otherwise.

I rate him as one of the world's best. I would place him as world's best right now, atleast in Tests

They are bowling more overs in domestic cricket than they would in ODIs, so, not at all cotton wrapped.

Nah domestic scene is in red ball cricket . So keeping him in tip top condition for sa matches . Plus domestic is super star . Can take it easy on field . At times don’t have to bowl at full pace plus comforts of home life at time . Ideal if ask me . He will now be bang on for sa tour

He's our best Test bowler. Unfortunately, his fitness doesn't let him play across formats.. So we preserve him for tests.

You mean by not playing him in World cup tournaments? That is some weird way to handle your best bowler.
