RAZPOR Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 He should be out of the team, always inconsistent and undependble. LORD_analyst 1
CG Posted January 13, 2018 Author Posted January 13, 2018 He should be out of the team, always inconsistent and undependble.Yes his fitness is major issue
rkt.india Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 My fear about him coming true. Turning out to be another Munaf.
Forever Indian Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 With his fitness levels, it's time we reserve him for WC19 and drop him from tests. Should try Saini in tests now. WC2011INDIA 1
CG Posted January 13, 2018 Author Posted January 13, 2018 Shami the leader of attack has been the worst.
The Realist Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Fitness is embarrassing but probably shouldn't expect much when he is playing cricket at an age when most have already retired. WC2011INDIA, Captain, diehardpacer and 5 others 1 6 1
New guy Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Question is, how the hell did management not note this before this test.
Captain Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 I have an extremely tough time believing that Shami is just 27 years old. His fitness levels are so bad. Such a shame. WC2011INDIA, SecondSlip, Peshust and 1 other 1 3
Temujin Khaghan Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 He looks depressed. Just look at rabada, looks like a young leopard out for the kill Shami looks like "should I do this... Can't I just eat biriyani and go to sleep?" GoldenSun, WC2011INDIA, asterix and 1 other 1 2 1
express bowling Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 (edited) Shami's usual pace range is 135 k to 145 k / 147 k ..... bowls lots of quick bouncers and hits the deck hard Bowling 130 k to 137 k in this test in the first session ..... not a single bouncer and gently floating the ball in Something is wrong Edited January 13, 2018 by express bowling Mosher and mancalledsting 1 1

Ideally, Umesh should have played this match as he is a solid test bowler on flat tracks. Next match won't be on a flat track. SA have planned it smartly. Turning_track Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 I'm not convinced with his run up. It all started during SL first innings of Kolkata test, he came back strong in the 2nd innings. Same thing happened in Capetown test also, it is not as smooth as before. Bowling coach Bharat Arun has to take note about it & also on his bowling speed.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 his ginger runup.......bhai fit nhin hai to bta de Aisa umesh jaisa hi bowling krna hai to usse hi khila lenge

Solid bowler was averaging 50 on flat tracks in 2017 before one good series. Did nothing after that again Texan 1
