sandeep Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 I've been a Buttler fan for quite some time now, and believe that both Buttler and Bairstow are comfortably ahead of MSD as Keeper-bats in LOI cricket. I believe England would have done well to pick Buttler for the Ashes, once Stokes was out of the squad. In spite of his technical deficiencies. These comparison with young keeper have come and gone since last 10 years, but its pointless infront of the true ATG like MSD...few good knocks cannot prove anything ..there are plenty of things that Dhoni brings to the table in our team which buttler or anyone else can just dream off... Buttler is more like part time keeper and as I said lot of players can play well for couple of seasons. He had a poor year in 2017 and still has lot to prove. Lets see where he goes from here.
