This guy was 20 on PCB site before U19 World Cup.

Turned 19 when the World Cup started.

Exact one year difference in age on Cricinfo and PCB site

I thought it was common knowledge, I hate having to come here and educate you guys.

The Brad Pitt starer the curious case of Benjamin Button was based on Afridi 2.0's exploits.

Wonder why their youngest player didnt play U19 WC. I mean Shahid Afridi. These players were better than him?

It was not age that got him. It has something to do with the number of times you can participate. He has big heart and is very young at heart too.

Their diet is good. They have fresh air to breathe so they dont age. Quit being petty and jealous. None of the Pakistan player looked more than 16 to me.

Afridi (Shahid) does not have a good diet. He has a tendency to try and eat balls, instead of playing with them. On a more serious note, it was sad to see how undernourished some of the Afghans and Pakistani looked, especially those from the frontier provinces.

That is a good observation on your part. Can you imagine average pakistani was doing better than Indians till the 70s and then Zia ruined that country.

I can imagine it definitely. Our economic model and approach was very different until the 1990s.

congress runied our country till 1990s as well

Yes and no. Congress did hurt but let us not forget that PV Narsimha Rao became the PM all the reforms really took off. Narsimha and Dr. Singh were the real unsung heroes of the economy. Narsimha Rao had the courage to deviate from the norm.

agree .. reform started in 1990s after our forex crunch ..

i really dont know how far this is true , after indepedance many wanted to go for capitalist model but nehru went for socilaist model ..

again after his death , people like kamaraj wanted to embrace capitalism , again indra gandhi inclinded towards socialist model

I really dont know but the socialist model has really hurt India. Even now look at China and see how well they have done. I am really really impressed with them and that is what India needs to copy.

I think it's Rajagopalachari & his swatantra party which were opposed to the socialistic model
