sergio04 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Rahane once again failed when he has to score run a ball. Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
kruiser Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 he didnt waste any balls at least. Showed intent, so no complaints from him today sandeep 1
ravishingravi Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 As useless as our fans ? velu and sandeep 1 1
Jimmy Cliff Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 He is useless in ODIs. Period. An odd quick 50+ doesn't mean much. saik and SecondSlip 2
sandeep Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Why bash the guy when he showed the right attitude, and chose the right approach - to attack SA's part-time spinner. Execution can go wrong at times, but Rahane tried to do the right thing today. Cricketics, velu, Sgattick10 and 1 other 4
Number Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 He is weak against spin. Will never work at no. 4 in ODIs. Iyer has right game for ODIs. Laaloo 1
jinjar Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 He is good on 250 pitches, 1990's called they want Rahane back. Seriously, this guy has to premeditate to clear the fielders, even on a freaking small ground!. Freaking Mumbai lobby.

Cricketics Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Approach was right, shot selection was wrong. You can keep the run rate up without stepping down the track. This is where the weakness against spin in his game shows where Kohli is solid who doesn’t have to step down the track always to dominate the spinner while Rahane has hard time doing the same.
Sean Bradley Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 (edited) I hope Suresh Raina returns to the quad and replace either Rahane or Butla Jadhav!! Edited February 7, 2018 by Sean Bradley

Rahane comes down the track premeditated. See the number of times ball is dropped short of him when he comes down the track. While Kohli picks the length. Edited February 7, 2018 by Number

Not all players come down the track to spinner always to dominate. Rahane finds it hard. I am there are exceptions always but Rahane isn’t the best spin player around. He has definitely improved though but not there yet.
