Even with keeping, he sometimes moves to the wrong side and then stretches his arm to catch the ball one handed, away from body. Not needed really as the boundaries are only 60 m to 75 m away. And these shots often lead to his dismissals. And he tries some unnecessary innovations from time to time too, at stages in the match when this is not necessary. His normal strokes are quite good and powerful ... as he showcased in his test century in England. He should stick to those. 2 ) He has a good offense and a decent defense. Leaves the ball decently too. But needs to up his strike-rotation-game, like he did in the early part of his innings yesterday. These singles will ensure that he is not under pressure to manufacture strokes where there is none. If he can make these 2 changes, he will improve his consistency and dependability drastically .
