agree with resting but the prospect India v Pak match, I think none of the big players will want to miss out both in terms of factor playing Pak and the obvious PR value

Don't think that's an issue yes the prospect is high but the thing is we have a much important Australia tour coming up so you need players fit and fresh, I wouldn't risk these players

     There will be pressure  to send full strength team. Unless Kohli himself wansts to rest , he will be leading.

Rohit is supposed to lead the squad not confirmed but Virat might be rested due to back issues.

Would love to see Shreyas Gopal ahead of Chahal. Lately Chahal has become too predictable for the batsmen and there's nothing to show for in the wickets column either.

Gopal needs to be tried in ODIs.

 

He is a good leg spinner and a better batsman than Chahal.

I think they should send India A team. It is win win in any case If India wins everyone can brag that the second team won. If India loses than everyone can say it is the second team.

Few players will definitely be rested, they would have had a long tour of England... Kohli, Dhawan, Pandya... Bhuvi won't be fit, I hope Dhoni is rested too.

Very unfortunate how it is scheduled this is big tournament and would be good to send full squad.

 

What is the next series after Asia Cup? Home series in October?

 

Perhaps that can be used for resting players.
