We don't have any all rounders. If Pandya was a bit better with the bat, we could have played him. And yes, Rahul scored last time on a patta but if the ball seams, he is sitting duck against the incoming ball of Starc/ Pattinson

Are you defending kohli ? You can't defend any captain in the world who allows 120 runs to the last 2 batsmen .60-70 at max is understandable but when it's 120 ,then it's clear captain wasn't pro active .

Broad is a nothing batsmen nowadays ,his average with the bat was 10 prior to this innings in this series

In Australia, mostly leg spinners have been sucessful. (Warne, McGill, Kumble...)... so Kuldeep should be in the squad

 

I will replace Rahane with Vijay Shankar... as he is a proper batsman with FC average of 47 and can bowl medium pace.

 

And include Siraj in place of Shami or Ishant, based on current form.

If ur not happy with pandya have shankar  but dnt kill ur bowlers . He ll only become better by playing more and its batsman who has to do their job n give cushion to young players like pant n pandya

That was a mistake by Jaddu to call him for such at tight single. He should have tried to go after him in the last 2 balls. 2 fours would reduced the deficit to 32.

Some of these guys post teams as if this is gully cricket .... without even first optimizing the specialist slots and not considering the work load of bowlers 

 

probably still live in 2000s when we had great batsmen who were difficult to keep out of 11 and could bowl too .... someone like Kumble was relatively reliable .... and we had trundlers who could bowl more overs relatively

May be he was not proactive, I did not watch it .What should he have done different. Bulter is the reason why they added those runs, Borad can  hang around better than any Indian lower order player.

When the specialist batting is non existent with just Kohli and Pujara,  we have to bowl teams out relatively quickly .... you don’t strengthen the batting by keeping struggling batsmen and adding more batsmen to it

Hard to choose players based on doing well in one place. But i think he will do bad there as well. He is not in good touch. Worst time to go through a rough patch.
