Hafeez WILL be back...unfortunately. Haris is lazy..poor temperament.

Pak batting has failed to adapt to modern cricket. Mainly due to lack of exposure..top cricketers were participating in IPL whilst Pak was playing weak sides.

Fakhar needs to be persisted with. He just needs to learn & adapt to sluggish tracks. I would draft in Zafar Gohar or Asghar...both specialist spin bowlers..get rid of Nawaz & Shadab.

Yeah bring on Asghar and Zafar or whoever so that tail gets even longer.

Haris was rated highly by your fans and some experts that he is a special talent.

Why don't you people give Fawad Alam an extended run? Surely he can't be worse than the current drabs you play.

The most "tailunted" team, the "Brazil" of Cricket  - couldn't even chase 240 against a Bangladesh team that had barely 3.5 bowlers.

What a consistently terrible batting performance by this sad excuse of a 'top' cricket team.

Next time a greenbro tries to talk up the likes of Hack-it Zaman, Babar "50 average" Azam, or the rest of the donkeys, they should blow themselves up in shame.

Pakistan have a deep-seated cultural problem with their cricket - their batting sucks.  The last 10+ years of evolution of the game has made it even more important to have quality batsmen.  The extra scrutiny means no longer can their spinners chuck away merrily like an Ajmal or Hafeez used to.  Let's not even get started on the ball tampering or pitch dancing.  On a level playing field, their true aukaat  stands exposed against the likes of Bangladesh and Afghanistan.  They have already been banglawashed in toyger land before.  There's not much beizti  left to happen now.  Thanks to be Allah that they were able to get automatic qualification for the world cup, by refusing to schedule series against West Indies, and playing more series against Zim.  As it is, even West Indies barely got through the qualifiers, needing bad umpiring decisions to get past Scotland.

I think by the time the next ODI world cup rolls around, the greenbros can definitely be expected to be ranked behind Afg/BD.  And even the West Indies are showing signs of improvement.

I think the day is not far that the warriors from Nepal will be smacking their lips in anticipation of a crunch contest against the greenbros.

no tamim or shakib either for bangla so this is even worse lol

I don't know what to laugh at. Should I laugh at how the -so called best opener in the world failed in this tourney or the fact that Pak got thrashed by a B ranked Ind team ( we didn't even think that this team would even make it to the final) or getting thrashed by a Bangladesh B side --> B F*cking team. LMAO

With or without those 2 - score was only 240.

And Bangla had only TWO decent bowlers - Fizz and Mehidy.  Then they had the fearsome duo of spraygun bottler Rubel, and old Mashrafe "100 kph" Mortaza.  No disrespect to Mash - he's been a quality leader for their team, but on most days, you can expect about 15 decent overs from that duo.  That meant that Pakistan had a minimum of 15 overs to feast on.  All they had to do was bide their time and the runs would have come.

What do they do? Choke up front with early wickets, give wickets to part-timers like Mahmudullah and Soumya Sarkar, instead of milking them.

In cricket, team tends to follow the leader - Sarfraz is a choker and an underperforming cricketer falsely elevated to leadership - he is a bonafide bedshitter.  Team is following that lead. Our test team's inconsistency flows from Virat's randomly generated team selection.  Leaders matter.

Sarfraz needs to be sacked and thrown out of this team.

I don’t think we need to drop Sarfraz nor take him off of captaincy he just needs to know that he is not in the team as a wicketkeeper. He needs to countribute with the bat. The problem is it seems he has not changed one bit on his mentality as a batsmen. He plays the same risky shots that he usually gets out from. Its beyond me why has he not worked on his technique?

Agree about Haris. He could replace Babar if Barbar continues to stop scoring.

More stupidity.  For better or worse, Babar is a half-decent batsman in that middle order.  He's slow, tends to feed on minnows and give it up against good teams, but he's a decent bat. Stick with him.  Don't expect him to be Virat or even a Dhawan.

Pakistan have a massive cultural problem with their batting.  It has taken India more than 30 years to start developing pacers after setting out to do so with the creation of the MRF pace academy.  And if you ask me, our cricket culture still doesn't know how to handle good pacers and get the best out of them. Pakistan has perenially had crap batting.  And in this modern age, where batting is more than half the game, they are destined to stink it up more often than not, unless they fix it from the ground up.

Frankly speaking, I do not see any improvement happening any time soon.

“Imran damaged Pakistan cricket by encouraging our bowlers to tamper with the ball. " Aamer Sohail

Sohail's words of revelation gets more projected  by each passing  day...

No need to even tamper.  Corrupt PCB don't provide good wickets or outfields for domestic cricket and insist on using cheap locally made cricket balls that start to deteriorate early even without any need to "condition" the ball.  Take a look at Pakistan domestic stats and you will find their versions of Vinay Kooomar and Pankaj Singh ruling the roost with bowling averages around the low 20s.  No wonder their batting sucks.

Holy crap, In the last 10 years Bangladesh has taken 146 Kiwi wickets in 20 matches at 32 SR while Pakistan has taken 148 Kiwi wickets in 25 matches with a SR of 40.
