You are getting it wrong. Your anger should be directed towards Dhoni not raydu and Karthick. Dhoni is taking Rahuls spot not these two.

DK is the fall guy. They assumed that he would fail worse than even dhoni so that they can pick dhoni as an automatic pick for the World Cup using the classic TINA(There is no alternative argument) .No other reason I can think of. Of course Pant being the only Indian wicketkeeper to score a ton at a high Strike rate in england on his first tour at 20 was quite inconvenient but since that tour as a whole was a failure they are counting on ppl to forget that.  Rayudu will make way for Kohli so that's not an issue.

Rayadu will make way for Kohli and Pandey will make way for rayadu on the bench and khaleel will make way for shardul thakur

last I checked Karthikis a keeper too. Dhoni out. DK keeps. Rahul in.

only diff is dhoni is on decline n DK is supposively earned back his spot being in golden form yet he keeps batting like midget , infact his basics are so week that he doesnt even knw that u need to ground ur bat while runnig
